The Hole in the Subway Wall
You don't know how you got here, but you aren't getting out.
::. He doesn't look back on his childhood with a smile .::
.

These are the lessons my father taught me:

-That men never cry
-That wives are only good for bearing heirs to the family name
-That mercy is always wasteful
-That humans are only useful for blood and sex
-That I can't trust anyone outside the family
-That the world is cruel to people like us and we must be cruel back
-That I'll never fully escape him, no matter how hard I run or hide in myself, no matter how much I want to, even after his death

It turns out that he was wrong about all except the last.

Is this Ian? It seems a little more Ian-y than Louie-y. (I am inventing adjectives.)

How many of these are you doing? I love them!

Yep, Ian. And thanks! I'm trying to do one everyday if I don't have too much work until I get bored of it. :3
