The last day of summer camp, to others, was the most inactive and uninteresting day, yet to the CDC, it was the day everything sort of fell together. Sort of.
Lets start with Science camp.
Zapook came out of her cabin room, her arms stretching over her head. She noticed the black fuzz on her arm, and quickly hid her arms once more. One of her bunkmates pushed her aside, growling and mumbling.
Zapook blinked a few times and growled back, "No need for the hostilities! Geeze. Last day and you want to leave on a bad note?"
The girl only looked back, "You mean the same way you left us next to the Juvie camp wall?"
"Wait...I wasn't anywhere near Juvie camp yesterday!"
"Exactly! You didn't even bother to show up with us!"
Zapook stared at her, confused at first, before it finally hit her, "Crap! That was yesterday!?"
"Well, duh!"
"Where was I?!"
"In one of the labs, working on some 'secret project'. Least that's what you said."
"I'm so sorry! Look...How about-"
"How about you just get packed and go?"
"...Look. I'm sorry."
"The whole thing fell apart yesterday because of you!"
Zapook could only stare at the girl as she stormed of. She sighed, dragging her own feet back into their cabin bunk room. After searching her stuff, she found a few materials that they were going to used for their prank yesterday. She then pulls out her a folder full of notes that she came up with from her experiments yesterday. "Man...", she mumbled as she looked back and forth between the two.
Sometime later, the girls came back into the room, hushing themselves to keep their 'cold shoulder' up with Zapook. The minute one of them stepped into the room, Zapook shoved a backpack toward her chest with a manic grin. "You're right! You were right all along."
The girl could only stare at Zapook with a confused look on her face as she watched her zip around the room, handing bags to the other girls as well.
Zapook nodded toward her as she ran back and forth, "Me and my family came here to relax and kick back, and I've been putting myself to work since day one on a serum."
"Serum?"
"Yeah, a serum! Oh right, I'm turning into a wolf by the way. It's kinda like a werewolf, but it's not really lycanthropy, Ya know?"
With mouths open, they shake their heads.
the first girl holds up a finger, "Wait...that's the project you were working on?! ..That explains your 'skin condition'."
Grabbing a bag, Zapook nodded and walked toward them, "Yeah. But I have a good long while before that actually happens. I should've been taking this time to chill and relax. So...what say we get over to Juvie?"
The girls could only cheer, causing the smile on Zapook's face to get even bigger.

Back in Juvie, Zee was now sitting in an office, feet up on the desk with a grin on her face. Another person, a semi built human male, was leaning against the wall, shaking his head. "I hope you're proud of yourself. You're room mate actually wants to commit suicide. I'd say that's not a first, but this is the fifth person that's said that, and had contact with you."
"What can I say. I gots a gift."
"What is wrong with you!?"
"Do you mean that old cafeteria thing? The toilet thing? Or the bunk bed thing?"
"...Bunk bed thing?"
A person passing by the office nodded, "Yeah, she set a girl's scalp on fire because she couldn't get the top bunk."
The man stood there, one eye twitching, before glaring back at Zee.
Zee could only sigh, "I know what you're thinkin', I shoulda did the claws through the mattress thing, but that would've destroyed the bed! Kinda defeats the purpose of the whole thing."
"Ok. I got to know. Is your animal nature really that strong, to where you're being super territorial over everything?"
"Territorial? Dude, I'm a female feline..."
"Understandable, but a wild lioness is more subtle than you!"
"Of course. Most male lions are nothing but dicks, and the females are just slaves."
"Let me put this in a way you'll understand. There's claiming food as your own, there's protecting your own food, and then there's taking someone else's, right?"
"Yeah?"
"So what happens when you start claiming things that aren't even food? And then, make a really big deal out of it?"
Zee sat there for a few moments, before frowning, "That's just stupid."
"Oh is it? Don't you think there's something else linked to someone acting like that?"
"Like a bad mood?"
"Something like that. Maybe this person is claiming other things because there's something else yo- I mean...Something else that person can't have?"
"...Nope. Not followin'."
"Think about it. Why else, other than attention, would a person be like that? Or an animal for that matter? If you take nothing else out of this place, at least think about that."
Zee shrugged, smiling as she got up from her seat. As she left the room, she slowed to a stop. Lost in her own thoughts, she began to wander away from the door.
The man sat down at his desk and sighed, just as his assistant into the room. "Sir? I got that book on tigers you wanted."
"I don't need it anymore. Throw it back into the library."
"Ok sir," she nodded, as she began walking away flipping through the book.
Just as he leaned back in his chair, loud explosions sounded all over the camp at once, causing him to fall out of his chair. "Call all of the counselors and guards!!!"
Onima was sitting on top of a brick wall, looking out towards Juvie camp with her head tilted to the side.
The man that had been 'helping' her was leaning against wall under her.
Onima laughed a bit. "Juvie camp seems to be having a little trouble!"
The man below laughed as well, "Tough kids over there. I'm not surprised really."
With a smile, Onima looked down to the man, "You know...you've been really nice to me. Just like Tina."
"Tina..?"
"Yeah! Tina and the others! They're like a family to me!"
"...Family huh..?" He said, a hint of disappointment in his voice. He then quickly perked himself up and smiled up at her. "You seem really happy with this family! Do they take care of you?"
"Are you kidding!? They're like the friends I always wished I had! Tina's so sweet! And Zee's a bit mean, but she kinda keeps me on my toes! And Aussa always plays around with me! And Zapook...She kinda takes care of me..."
The man just smiled and nodded to himself, him and Onima staring at each other with a grin, before the wall she sat on started to shake.
"Hey you! Guy! Catch me!" Onima yelled, before tumbling on to the opposite side of the wall.
She slowly opened her eyes, only to look up into the face of the same fox girl. "..Well hello again! Nice to see you're still in great shape."
"Can it, and get up!"
Onima stands to her feet, shyly looking up at the girl. "Is there...something you need?"
"Yep." she said, boiling her fist and rearing back. "A punching bag!"
The fox's fist flew forward in a powerful thrust, and makes a loud crack as it makes contact. The crack, however, came from the hole she had made in the brick wall. Onima was innocently standing next to her arm with her head tilted to the side. "Um...Ya missed."
The fox growls, pulling her fist back and attempting to have it make contact with Onima once more. Onima quickly side steps within the last second, and waved.
Frustrated, the fox attempted to hit, kick, and even tried to headbutt Onima. Onima dodged effortlessly, and crouched down, before launching herself into the air, barely avoiding the fox's headbutt.
What was left of the wall collapsed, and with it, the fox, who was now laying on the rubble. Onima was now giggling and bouncing in the background.
Tina and ray were making they're way from rich camp's gates. Ray was carrying both of their bags, and Tina could only hold his arm, talking with him as they headed toward the forests. Onima was already waiting at the forest edge with the counselor that had been 'coaching' her in fitness camp. The two of them were chatting until Onima saw Tina and Ray heading thier way.
Her ears perked up and a smile spread across her face. "That's one of them now! See, mister? That's Tina! The really nice one!"
"Oh?" he questioned, as he watched Tina and Ray draw near. "Well...she really does seem nice..."
Onima rose to her feet and waved toward Tina. "Over here!" Tina and Ray walked toward her, smiles on their faces, and Onima eagerly pointed toward where the man was sitting. "Come here guys! I want you to meet someone! He's really nice and helped me out of a real jam during camp!"
Ray stared at Onima for a bit, then turned away, coughing and clearing his throat awkwardly.
Tina could only shake her head, "Sweetheart...what did I tell you about talking to things that don't speak back..."
Onima stared at Tina, blinking a few times, before turning toward the tree. The man that had been with her head just disappeared, leaving no trace of his being there. Onima started to frantically look around. "I swear, there was this guy here! I'm not lying!"
Before Tina could coax Onima to calm down, Zapook's shouting had interrupted the moment. Her and Zee were carrying they're own bags, heading toward the group. Zapook had a wide grin, and still wore her camp's lab coat, while zee, back in normal clothing, was covered in small patches of soot, and had an annoyed look on her face.
Tina stared at the two of them before holding a hand up, "Ok, is there any reason you resemble survivors of a burning building?"
"Science camp was the one responsible for the explosions. We were just a little late with hitting juvie camp." Zapook grins. That's when both Zapook and Zee simultaneously stared over at Ray, who could only wave nervously. With a glare, Zapook turned back toward Tina, "Aight. What is he doing here?"
"Ah. Yes." Tina cleared her throat, "There is much we must discuss with one another. Before we journey home, however...", she says, turning toward Ray, "There is something you wish to say to my sister?"
Ray nodded, taking a deep breath and explaining himself to Zee; the charming, the reason he followed them home, and then, his heartfelt apology toward Zee.
Zee's response? At first, she could only stare, before stepping toward him, and grabbing the collar of his shirt, bringing his face close to hers. Without warning, she gave him a long, deep kiss, making him drop the bags he was holding. As the kiss came close to lasting about 8 or 9 seconds, Zee's fist suddenly flew in out of no where, connecting with Ray's cheeks and sending him into a nearby tree, where he fell to the ground, motionless.
Zee could only smile, "That's the best I've felt in a long time... Can we go home now?"
