If only he knew...

The rain falls
I listen with fear
To the words they whisper
In my ear
They tell me to lose you
To expel you
To dispel you
But I will not
For I don't think that you forgot
How much you cared
And the secrets we shared
When the rain has stopped
I have not
I continue to listen
Until I hear my name
When the birds begin to sing
And the sky has turned blue
All I can think about is you
And I wait for the wind to call your name
