Charlie sat there motionless, his mind fixated on the future. What would he do for the next year, it was boring with Bill. Yeah, he’s staying with his family for a year – which never happens. He thought he would have a good time doing things, things that would keep his mind off of things. Apparently, not. “Damn, so bored.” He muttered to himself. He decided to walk around; he got up from his bed and trotted downstairs.
“Ah, Charlie.” Molly called out, reaching out for her son. She embraced him into a hug, he hugged back. “Going somewhere?” She asked, her brow raised.
“I was just going to walk around a bit; do you need anything, mum?” Charlie replied, putting his hands in his pockets.
“Oh, well, I wanted you to go with Ginny to Diagon Alley. She needs her supplies for school.” Molly responded.
“I can take her.” Charlie smiled, always delighted to help his sister. Besides, they haven’t even spent time together. Charlie could see his mother smile; he smiled back and pecked her on the cheek. “We’ll be back in a jiff then.”
“Alright,” She smiled, walking to the staircase. “Ginny, dear. Charlie’s going to take you to Diagon Alley. Come downstairs.” Molly called out, walking away.
“Thank, Charlie.” Ginny thanked her brother and walked to the fireplace. Charlie sighed and then looked at his mother, who was digging around for money.
“This is all I have, it should be enough.” Molly said, kissing Charlie on the forehead. Charlie nodded and took the money respectfully, and then he went to Ginny, who already had floo powder in her hand. They both stepped in and flung the floo powder, and made their way to their destination.
“So, you’re in love with Bill?” Ginny said, shocked. Ginny started to giggle, it was kind of awkward, but yet charming. She felt like everyone should love whoever they want.
“Yeah…” Charlie replied. Deep down, he knew that Ginny didn’t accept. He lowered his head, he wanted to be with Bill, but he would have to wait.
“Charlie, don’t feel bad.” Ginny placed her free hand on Charlie’s back. He looked up with teary eyes, his face red. “I’m here for you, and I promise, I won’t tell anyone.” She responded, smiling at Charlie. She placed the bag of supplied down and hugged Charlie, embracing him in a warm hug. Charlie hugged back, still crying. He finally found someone who actually cares. They’ve been like that for a few minutes, Ginny, who was patient, was there and that all it mattered. “Cry your heart out, Charlie. It’s good for you.”
“Thanks, Ginny.” Charlie wept, “For understanding me.” He gently pulled back and wiped his face, he would want anyone see him like this.
“You’re welcome. You can come to me, if you need to talk.” Ginny released him and picked up her things. “We need to get home, before it gets dark.” Ginny suggested, walking ahead. Charlie nodded and ran up to her, placing his hand on Ginny’s head.
“You’re a cutie, you know that?” He said, smiling. Ginny nodded and gently pushed her brother. He laughed and did the same the thing.
“Yep.” Ginny giggled, the dark came too soon and Charlie felt uneasy. He always hated walking at night, He grabbed Ginny’s shoulders.
“Stay close.” Charlie ordered. He could feel Ginny nod, he pulled out his wand, just in case. They walked for a few minutes, until they both were both knocked down by a force. Charlie grabbed Ginny and covered her with is body.
“What the…Hell...” Charlie looked up, squinting his eyes to see who ever it was that forced them to the ground. The figure kept on walking up towards them. Charlie gasped when the figure got closer. It was Bellatrix Lestrange.
“Look what I found, the icky Weasleys.” She said, high-pitched. She danced around the two, who struggled to get up.
“What do you want?” Charlie hissed, holding Ginny back, to protect her. Charlie pointed his wand at Bellatrix, who was pointing her wand back at Charlie. Ginny widened her eyes as she looked at Charlie; she too pulled out her wand.
“Stay back, Ginny.” Charlie said quietly, keeping his guard up. Bellatrix smiled a wicked grin and flicked her hair out of the way.
“Aw, is big brother protecting his little sister?” Bellatrix flashed a grin, “Who’s going first?” Bellatrix questioned, looking at Charlie and Ginny. “I know. CRUCIO!” She pointed at Ginny, who was now on the ground twitching and screaming. Charlie’s eyes widened, he failed to protect his sister.
“You’ll pay for that!” Charlie screamed, “EXPELLIARMUS!” Bellatrix screamed as she knocked off her feet. As she was distracted Charlie ran over to Ginny, but Bellatrix was up – stumbling, she widened her eyes.
“SECTUMSEMPRA!” Bellatrix bellowed out, seconds later, Charlie let out a painful scream and fell on Ginny. His body bleeding profusely, his body laid there motionless. Ginny controlled her breathing a gently pushed her brother to the side. Ginny eyed Bellatrix, her brow furrowed. But, before Ginny could do anything, she was blind sighted by Bellatrix, who used the stupefy spell on her. Ginny fell to her side, unconscious. “Got you know,” Bellatrix danced and grabbed Ginny, taking her to the forbidden forest for Voldemort’s secret plan. As Bellatrix apparated, Charlie struggled to get up. The pain was too excruciating, but seconds later, he was up on his feet. He searched for his wand, he grabbed and apparated back to the burrow.

Molly was sitting down at the table with her family, and friends. They were happily eating dinner, until Charlie appeared, landing on the floor on his back. He gasped for air. The house fell silent and everyone ran over to him, Molly placed her hand on Charlie’s head. “What happened?” Molly asked, dreading on what’s going to happen to him. “Where’s Ginny?!” Molly panicked, also trying to relax him. Everyone gathered around, eyes widened.
“We….We were attacked. She took Ginny.” Charlie spat out, his body shaking from the pain. “Bellatrix took her and it’s my fault.” Charlie began to cry, failing as an older brother. Molly cried as she hugged her son. “We need someone to heal him, or he’s going to bleed to death.” Molly said, quietly. Hermione gently pushed through the crowd and sat besides Charlie, her hand on his chest and her wand out. She began the healing process. It sounded like a song; of course, no one knew what she was saying. Charlie closed his eyes and he was out like a light.
