So lets say you want to pass the new HealthCare bill. The Health Care bill that lets the government decide what meds you get and what treatment you're treated with. That takes it over. So you sign it, it gets passed. You get kicked from your government seat a few weeks later. You go home and a few more weeks later you are diagnosed with some disease that gets worse little by little and is undiagnosed. You go to the doctor. Well, the government, which now has control of the clinics and hospitals, knows that if they take you in, they're going to spend a lot of money. They know that its going to take a A LOT of money to figure out what you have, keep you alive the whole time, treat you for it for probably the rest of your life and prescribe take home meds and maybe even annual visits. So, they say you'll be fine, give you some antibiotics and send you home. You're steps away from your door when suddenly the disease reaches past its pattern and hits you violently. As you collapse on your door step you have some realization about life or whatever, that you know you knew all along but were too focused on your selfish needs when you were in congress to see it. And then you die. Dead by your own decision.
Now thats what I call irony.
