By day, Kawai Konoe is an ordinary teenage girl with an ordinary life. She is loving, energetic and free spirited. And like a normal girl, she’s in love with the person she hates, Senri Hiro, an infuriating and irksome narcissist. He is the most hated and annoying playboy you’ll ever meet, always saying and doing the meanest things.
On the other hand, by night, Akai, clad in red with long black hair and a scythe in hand is a not so ordinary Death God. Unlike other Death Gods she has a kind heart, gentle and well mannered. Moreover she is willing to help people even if it means getting herself in trouble.
Two completely different worlds and one body. This is a story of Konoe's struggle to live a normal life and the Death God, Akai, who cries for the dead.
