Should I ask her to go with me to the party?I wonder if she'd say yes...She probably wouldn't...She'd never go anywhere with a guy like me...
Ohh did he love her or what.He even wanted to take her to a party!Now just what was she thinking...
It's not right for a girl to ask a guy to a party..Right?He probably already has a date...I wonder if he knows I like him..I stare at him too much for him to not know..Aw he'd never love me...
This was that party that every single 7th grader was going to.The one where you had to be 'popular' to go to.Now,the boy was new at their school...So he would have a little bit of a harder time finding a date.She was just not the kind of girl to ask him either.She was how you would say,shy.Just what are they going to do...
~The next day~
They're both sitting across from each other at a lunch table.There aren't many kids around to make fun of them or mess them up from talking to each other.He looks her in the eye,thinking of something to start a conversation with.All of a sudden,here he goes.
So...You've been at this school for a long time,huh?
She looks up with a smile on her face and her cheeks bright red.
Yea.I've been her for about 7 years now.It's a really good school.
He's satisfied on the topic chosen to speak about.
Yea,I can tell.It's been here for a long time hasn't it?
She's happier than he'll ever know possible.
About 15 years or so.We've got good teachers,good kids,good food too!
They both laugh a small giggle.The bell rings and it's off to class again.Next period is P.E. He hopes he's on the same team as her so he can ask her to the party...
Kids are running everywhere!Frantic!Trying not to get hit!it's dodgeball day and everyone's ready for the game!He and the girl are on the same team.The game starts!You hear tons of voices telling where to go,what to do,and how to do it.He walks over near her.She sees him out of the corner of her eye and backs up a little bit to get closer to him.they both just stand there and look at each other for about,5 seconds.And wouldn't you know,they were both hit by a ball!They're the only two out so far.They both sit in a chair on their side of the court.They make a small conversation about 10 minutes into the game,asking small questions and just being friendly...Then all of a sudden,here it goes!The boy turns his body towards her..
Uh,are you going to the party this weekend?
She knows what's about to happen,and she isn't going to ruin it..
Well I didn't really have anyone to go with...I was just kind of waiting to see if anyone would ask me..
Ohh she had no idea..
Would you like to go with me?
He said it so confidently.She was speechless for a few seconds.Her face brightened up...
Yes!I'd love to!
He was soo relieved!
