You Never Cared
By: Michelle
The wind rushing
The leaves flying
The sky spinning
I am falling
The pain was so terrible
I knew I couldn’t take it
The window, it was open
I was just so angry
My mom was screaming at me
I looked her in the eyes
And I told her,
“I’ll always love you.”
The worst part was;
She couldn’t hear me
She didn’t care
She didn’t love me
I leaped
The window was open
And I could take no more
I fell
My body was aching
And I saw all the strange people
Looking at me
And a woman screaming
“Is this heaven?”
No, I was lying in front our apartment building
Bleeding, Dying; Slowly
Death came quickly after that
But before I left this cold, dark earth
I heard something, my mom,
“I love you, too.”
