I think I understand now. I've lost so much, but I've gained even more.
While Vexen and I were discussing my next course of action, we encountered Xehanort. He had attempted to master the power of Red Dawn, but without the Resembol materials, he can't do it properlly. Still, he had become astonishingly strong. He blasted a hole through Vexens chest, and destroyed the sheild spell I used. And then, he took my abilities. I no longer remember how to use the force or shapeshift, among other things. I only remember how to weild a keyblade, use shapeshifting to regenerate, and the magic of that universe.
I tried my best to fend off Xehanort, but he was much too strong. But thenn, Vexen had a realization. He showed emotion and was happy. He understood then, that one didn't need a physical heart to have one. As long as my heart keeps his memories, then Vexen shall have one too. Vexen had faith in me. He gave me a white summoning materia in a pendent as he faded away, happy.
With it, I summoned an old aquantice, Genesis. I pleaded with him to help me, and he finally did, in a way. He got back my basic shapeshifting abilities, but instead of getting more, he sent Xehanort away. Genesis believes in me too.
I think I beleive in me too.
I teleported us to Olympus Colesium so I could get a new partner. Normally I wouldn't take someone from their world on purpose, but with Xehanort a threat to the multiverse, this is the emergancy I've been training for. I need a hero to help me.
But, I think I can be one too.
