It was a few years ago that I figured out my sexuality.
Bi-Sexual.
It was a few months ago that I figured out which I lean more towards.
Females.
It was about a year and a half ago that I fell in love with another female.
Keeping this from my parents was hard for me.
Especially because of my mother's view on the topic of sexuality.
She's made it clear that she thinks 'Gays' are troublesome.
She doesn't want them to have the rights that everyone else does.
She is against same sex marrage.
And this only tore me up inside.
I would always defend the gays, saying that they're people with feelings just like everyone else.
You can't help who you fall in love with.
I can't bring myself to tell my mother that one day, if I chose so, I'd like that freedom.
The freedom to wed whomever I please.
No matter what gender.
My mother doesn't know how much her words hurt...
