Why I Hate You.
Don't underestimate my anger, hatred, and bitterness.
Got some free time?
Yeah, so, I got fired today. This is more annoying then anything else. Mostly, I'm just annoyed that I got fired instead of being able to quit. Also, now I have to look for a new job somewhere. Damn, that's annoyed as hell. I mean, i've been wanting to quit for a while now, but I knew, on some level, that I was never going to. In a way, I'm glad; this really frees me up to start rethinking my life on a practical level, instead of theopritical.
I was really tempted to go to my General Manager, and just be like, "You know, they usually give you two weeks notice at professional business." then leave. Oh well.

This is probably going to be a hodgepdge of stuff. Don't expect much cohesion to my rants.

On a short note, Jay Sevrin is a ******** moron. "When will liberals and jihadists realize that there is a national religion in America, and it's Bible is the Constitution." Not a word-for-word transcript, but it's pretty close, and gives you a good window into why this man needs to be gagged. With an angry ferrit.
It just occured to my why is tagline is "the most important fun on radio." That's so when he makes a complete a** of himself or pisses off the wrong person, he can claim that his show is "entertainment." Sneaky p***k.

So, the Islamic world is going apeshit crazy over some sketch some dude in a windmill drew. I'm starting to have a really hard time not being in favor of carpet nuking this entire reigon. I dig that it's a taboo, in Muslim faith, to depict Muhhammed in any way, shape or form. That kinda sorta makes sense to me, it keeps everyone happy with their own belief of who he was. A little silly maybe, but I suppose it's no sillier then Christians winding up with a Caucasian Jesus. Heh. "Of course Jesus is white!" However, the cartoons depicted in the series were not done by a muslim. They were done by a presumably Christian-based Dane. And done prety poorly and comically to boot. The turban come bomb looks like something Boris Badinoff would toss at Moose and Squirelle. It would be like someone from, say....Bangledash (sp) made a sketch of Jesus with a handbar mustash, a gun that said "bang", and a bag of stolen money with a $ on the side.
I've seen a small, select sampling of some Islamic political cartoons regarding US and Israeli policies and stereotypes. I won't get into details, but I will say there was quite the abundance of blood and swastikas. Terentino would be happy. The hypocrasy and arrogence of Islamic fundamentalism is astounding. If Mohhamned trying to get Moose and Squirelle pisses them off, I can't even imagine what they would think of him bathing in a giant martini glass of blood.
The right seems angry that many media outlets refuse to air or print the cartoons, saying that they are offensive and may instill more violance. They actuually do have the rare valid point. Any muslim who would be pissed by this has more then likely seen it. However, they then sontinue to b***h about how these media accesses DID post pimages of Piss Christ, which is very offensive to Christians. Quick breif, Piss Christ is work done by some two-bit artist in NYC, who took a Crucifix con Jesus and submerged it in a jar of his own urine. THe right bitches that this artwork is offensive to Christians, and claims that this is what you get with taxpayer-funded NEA. One: I found out this story from a blogger who says to be fairly activing in the NYC art scene, who reports that the artist who did it is tollerated at best, and Piss Christ would have, rightfully so, gone away compleatly without notice had the Christian nutjobs not (heh) pissed their pants over it. Two: It was not payed for by tax dollars. The art showing that is was IN was, yes, part of a NEA grant, but the work was neither commishioned nor funded by the NEA. Third: yeah, it's offensive to christians, but christians tend not to roit in the thousands, threated the lives of non-related arties, and burn embassies to the ground when they're angry. Not quite the same scenario.

NSA wiretaps. Without warrent? Equals illegal. Why is this not the end of the discussion. The President. Broke. The law. Maybe there's a part to this I'm missing?
"Well, the NSA is spying on domestic terrorists. It's a vital tool to fight terrorism, and trying to obtain a warrent slows that down." This is a popular argument, because all the best lies ar ebased on truth. If the NSA has suspected terrorists they want to spy one, they're free to do that. With a warrent. Now, I've never applied for on, myself, but it seems to me that, if they have sufficant reason to believe that Person X is worthy of spying on, wouldn't they have enough information to get a warrent? HOw long could that take? THey already have a after-action period with which to GET one. Why would you not ask a judge for permission to spy on someone, unless you don't want anyone, anyone, to know who you're spying on? Terrosists arn't stupid. They play the game assuming they're being taped and bugged. Anyone who thinks that they're suddenly going to be shocked shitless by this relevation is a moron. And any terrorist who WAS taken aback by this is a morno and probably not a threat anyways.
I dunno who they think they're fooling with this "we're at war" bullshit. What war? Where's the enemy? Where's the threat? Where's the massive industrial effort to build the supplies and munitions? At best, I would describe this as a Global Skirmish. Congress hasn't declared war on anyone. They HAVE passed Approval of Force resolutions, which I don't claim to have read, but I'm pretty sure it just means they approve of the President's plan for the use of the Armed Forces and won't cut off funding to the effort. We would be at war if there was an ACTUAL threat to the security of our existance as a nation. Al Qaeda is a threat to people on busses, and to be sure they're dangerious and need to be delt with. But I don't see anything about Al Qaeda tanks rolling in through Texas, or Jihad Bombers cutting through the sky over California. For all intents and purposed, terrorism proves to be zero threat to our stability as a nation. The administratoin and it's suports refer to it as war, because that's abigger hard-on the "the long-a** and slow paced hunt for people who want to blow s**t up, coupled with the extensive and seemingly endless effort to restablize and rebuild a POS nation after we tore it to hell in the first place." Hmm...yeah, I would cal it a war if I were them, too. rolleyes Trying to claim that this is part of the duty of a wartime president is bullshit on so many levels.
The absolute refusal by the administration to say WHO they've been spying on is suspect enough. But who needs supsicion when you got secret documents? They dun wanna tell you who they're using this on, is because it's not terrorists. It's political organizations that opposed the administration. Oops. Well, i'm sure one or two of those orgs have a muslim in them, so there ya go. Gotta be vigilant!

So, Alito is a Justice now. I dunno, I had a hard time really caring about this. Bush picked him, so I'm sure he's an absolute douchebag. THe only thing anyone talked about regarding his position was on abortion, so it's not like I have any clue how he stands on anything.
Pro-lifers piss me off six times over and twice on Sundays.
Ever since that Scaivo bullshit, and considering the Right's position on Welfare and medicare and all those good things, one thing became blatently clear. They don't actually give two shits about the life of others. THey're beef is that they're so bedwettingly terrified of their own mortality and finiteness, that they refuse to accept the reality of life. Death is not a bad thing, death is not an evil entity that must be stopped. Death is part of the natural cycle of life. There would be no death without life. Trying to deny this fact is not only foolish, it betray the child-like naivety of the conservative mentality. They argue that it's not our place to decide when people should die, while at the same time using life-sustaining devices to artificially prolong it. They say that condoms are evil, as it interfears with god's will of when life should be created, yet advocate abstinace, which does the same thing but isn't as healthy. (sex and orgasms are good for you. Numerous studies have show that the lack of which can actually be detrimental to mental and psyicial health.) To be fair, the abstinance thing is usually aimed at un-married people, but I refer you to my mary rant about that.
But the thing that really, REALLLY gets me pissed about pro-lifers is their arrogance and meddling self-rightiousness. If abortion stays legal it affects no one, not one ******** person, who does not choose for it to affect them. If it's illegal, tens of thousands of people will have their lives forever altered in a manner beyond their controll. All so some god-fearing p***k can sleep better at night, complacent in their ignorance. Are there people who abuse the sysetm? Sure, you bet, there are woman who use legal abortion as their method of family planning, and who have had multiple abortions. And I"ll agree with anyone who says that's ******** up. But any system will be abused, that's inevitable. But for the overwhelming majority, it's not a fun experiance. It's not something anyone wishes to have to decide on. It's an intense, painful, and personal desicion; and if you think it's okay to push your beliefs and your values on other people to try and claim some fabled moral highground, then I have no respect for you at all.
There was phtograph in TIME, I belive, of some pro-lifers demostration at the capitol. The women in the photopgragh were holding sings sayin, "I regret my abortion." Hey, you know what b***h? I regret asking Emily out in the 11th grade, so while you're at it, can we make dating illegal too? I'm just stunned by the ummitigated gall of this ******** to try to affect the lives of others because THEY feel bad about their choice. ******** off and die! And I"ll bet you all my money and possesions that 90% of this people are against Federal seatbelt laws, because that would be Big Government intruding on our individual rights.
You'll notice that I used "people" more often then "women." Certainly, pregnancy is a health concern for primarily woman, and our sociaty is set that the child raising weighs most on the female, but babies don't magically appear. It's the man's child too. In a perfect scenario, they would be in agreement on what should be done about an unplanned pregnancy. The obvious root of this issues is what stems from a disagreement between the two. Well, if the man does not want the child, but the woman does, that's not as bad. It may end the relationship, but there are other mates to seek, and the Godfoilk are happy, because they're stupid.
There's a feeling of patriarchness to it. "Hello, this nice man got you pregnant and now you're going to bear his child, thank you very much." I'm sure a sizable portion of lifers are in it because of their beliefes on life, but there must be an equal portion that feel that it's not the woman's choice, that her input ended when she spread her legs. Hell, most probably believes both of that. Or that the woman has an obligation to at least carry and birth the child, then give it to the father. Which would almost be a plan, except for the many, many health issues pregnancy brings, or the logistical nightmare, or that it's painful enough to lose your child without having to see it.
But no mater how you slice it, it's a desicion for the two involved, and not your wailing bible-thumpers who go home and cry into the darkness of their own mortality nightmares. ********.

So, I'm preparing myself for the notion that college isn't going to happen for me. It's hard to discribe; I just..don't care. About anything. I have no desires, no motivation, no drives, and i"m okay with that. My last two years "at college" have been a disaster. I'm almost flunking out of ******** community college. I know that I need to get up and do something about it, go to the career center, go to class, do my work, but I don't. I'll just drive around aimlessly, wanderig through malls, and browses through the same damn store, look at the same damn stuff, rather then do anything.
I think part of it is that failure is my default. Knowing that I ******** up and lost fills me with the familiar warmth. The opposing other half of me knows that if I don't care and don't try, then I don't fail, and my self-destructive part agrees.
The rest of it is that I just don't care about life. If I don't do anything or make anything of my time, then I can keep not caring.
I'm in one of my moments where I actually feel like changing my life. These almost always come when I can't actually change jack all. I dunno. One of my issues is that I don't tell people I care about when I'm hurting. I don't want them to worry about me, and I don't want them to care about me. I don't want to be the whiny emo who just bitches about how their life sucks.
I guess ranting about it here is a good first step. I do feel kinda better...we'll see how long that lasts, though. I make no promises.
I could probably go on, but I've been typing and refining for about three hours and I'm drained. Maybe latter.

I guess my point is that I hate everything. confused
