Appearance: (Click on image for large full size) Thrie's full standing height is 5'11 tall and weighs 180lb. Thrie is well built, the bulk of his upper body muscles contributing to most of his weight. His physical strength reflects a sprinter rather than a long distance runner. He has jet black hair and brown eyes. Having spent most of his life in an urban environment, Thrie has a slightly more pale compared to tanned skin tone of one native from Republic of Jimunga.

Personality: Socially, Thrie is on the quiet side of the spectrum. For someone who doesn't talk much, Thrie can be rather fiercely vocal during the heat of battle. Otherwise, he keeps to himself making him rather distance from most people he comes in contact with. He is rather picky with whom he associates with and treats most as an acquaintance, coworker or comrade like business as usual. This was the result of his parents, corporate executive officers in busy Durem City, who taught him to believe everyone is an opportunists willing to betray for a better offer. Thrie was told the only way to survive the vultures of the business world is to stand firm on his own ground and be aggressive with what must be done. This laid the foundation of Thrie's working ethnic of getting things done with his own two hands and not asking favors from others. Friendship with Thrie is developed through no small feat and usually from some major events. Thrie is most loyal and honest to those who he considers as true friend and he will go out of his way for them

Character Bio: Thrie's mother, Ling, and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Yao moved into Durem, Gaia, to expand their restaurant business. Thrie's father, Eric Barton, was a business office worker at a newspaper agency. After Eric and Ling met, they established a corporate headquarter in Durem to manage the growing restaurant business of the Yao family. With their success, Ling's parents were able to retire and hand over the business ownership to her and her newly wedded husband Eric. Shortly, Thrie was born and four years later followed by the birth of Lily. Ling's parents spent most of their retirement free time taking care of both Lily and Thrie until they grew into their teens. The young Barton siblings had somewhat of a difficult upbringing. Being son and daughter of a major company forced them into popularity they did not want. As a result, the two siblings grew very close to each other in their constant adventure to avoid the spot lights and the paparazzi.

Both Lily and Thrie knew their future were limited to what they could do. It was expected of them to achieve good grades, attend prestigious university and began their career in their family business. The unfortunate side effect was that Thrie was not raised that way. To bed fed the silver spoon through college and career, Thrie refused such life. He would earned his place in society through his own hard work. In order to build opportunity for himself, Thrie enlisted into the UGMF as a Marine. He had planned to use the four years worth of savings to purchase a home where his sister could hide away from the busy life of Durem and give her a chance to start anew without following a similar path as he had. Thrie did well during his time in the UGMF and was making good progress saving money for a home and retiring benefit.

At the end of Gaia's civil war, Thrie had completed his fourth year of service in the UGMF. Before he could end his active service, he suffered a life threatening wound during the carpet bombing of Aekea City that had left him in a coma. It wasn't until several months was Thrie discharged from the hospital and receive his honorable discharge from the UGMF. His return to Durem was met with unfortunate news. Eric, Ling and Lily were in a car accident resulted from getting caught in the wild spread disorder and riots during the Gaia civil war. There nothing further Thrie could do other than giving his deceased family members a proper burial and funeral. Originally, Thrie planned to take over the company left by his parents but that world was just not for him. With the help of his grandparents who once owned the business, Thrie managed to put people who could trust in place before he took off into the country-side to deal with his grief.

The world Thrie had worked so hard on to give to his sister was no more. No matter where he turned, he just could not adjust to his new life. Only a few weeks passed before Thrie returned into the ranks of the UGMF where a rifle in his hand felt the most familiar to him as if it was part of his own body.
