The sadness takes hold and starts to overflow
that's when you know that I'll be there to hold
and help you down the road
you might feel alone, but just know that I am by your side
The world goes on as you will as well
Nothing lasts forever, not even the sadness that fills your heart
soon the sadness will evaporate only to bubble up again from the loneliness of life
Always expect the worst, so it's easier to see the light.
