I wait for thee I wait for thee Standing beside the tree The blazing heat I wait for thee I wait for thee Beneath the falling leaves The howling gale I wait for thee I wait for thee Through the frigid blizzard The blanket of snow I wait for thee I wait for thee Time and time again The growing tree I wait for thee I wait for thee Forever under the tree No more tears I wait for thee ... but you never came.
