Now everybody's got advice they just keep on givin'
Doesn't mean too much to me
Lot's of people out to make-believe they're livin'
Can't decide who they should be.
I decline to walk the line.
I have a problem with melodrama, teenage angst, and people broadcasting their lives. People would be less annoying (to me) if they realized that the world is bigger than their reputation. I'm sick [okay, mildly frustrated, but that doesn't sound as nice] of people going on about silly, tiny things that happened in their day so that it looks like they're more popular, funnier, smarter, or whatever than they really are. You shouldn't have to tell tales about yourself for people to think that. If you're really as BLAH as you say you are, keep your mouth shut and people will notice. If not, then you're full of s**t. Despite my unjustified petulance of 1/5 of Cache's student body, I believe that no matter how stupid/weird/crazy/or down right bitchy someone may be, you shouldn't strive to persecute them. They're human too, and you just don't have that right. [[I have a handful of genuine friends, and the rest are just psychos on the outskirts of my lunch table.]] <----- That's hypocrisy right there, because I honestly believe that somedays. But despite how much disdain I hold for people [to be blunt, people like Sarah Davis, Marissa, Brenda, & occasionally Aly and many many more] it's wrong to double-cross them, go behind their back and slander them when we share classes, lunches, & our whole school year. Regardless of social status, or whatever measurement you go by, we're equal. Except Black people. :]
