Yup, you guessed it ~ Porn and it's various forms.

America has always had issues with sex. It is one of the most hushed up acts and it is one of the most publicized acts. You know ~ Which celebrity is doing it with which other celebrity.... who cheated on who. But woe befall anyone who tells their kids about their own personal sex lives or sex in general. Now, that's just not done.

First of all, why is sex such a shameful act to us? We'll show kids violence and gore without a second thought, but hands fly over eyes when the kissing gets too heavy. Sure, sex isn't the most beautiful thing to look at... all those fluids and bulging organs, but it's a natural act. To be honest, I don't think sex needs to be treated like it's shameful. But, by the same token, I also don't think that we should glorify it the way we do on the internet, either.

You've probably heard of Rule #34. If it exists, there is porn of it. If what you're looking for is vague enough, then this rule has an uncanny knack for being true... for example, I couldn't search for porn of my best friend and her cat and come up with a result (at least, I hope I couldn't), but if I were searching for young women doing sexual things to cats, then I would most definitely hit upon something. A lot of somethings. Now, people doing sexual acts to and with animals is hardly a new thing. History of bestiality and other things of that nature have existed since ancient Greek and Roman times, to say the least. However, I can't help but wonder if, as we get more and more used to the act of sexual intercourse, itself, if we don't get used to it and begin to need more and more extreme means of getting off.

It's basic immunity. If you are exposed to something for an extended period of time, you will develop a tolerance to it. Like drugs. And the more and more you are exposed, the more extreme the thing has to be in order to satiate your craving. This applies to porn, if not the act of sex itself as well. Enter websites like A** Smoothie or Rate My Shocker and the guy who is known for "One Guy One Jar" and "One Guy One Screwdriver". As we become immune to the powers of what is conceived as "normal sex" we have to find new and more extreme sources for our fix.

Not only that, but there is wind of a newly popular fetish involving an attractive girl abusing a cat or other animal. Far be it from me to criticize what people do with their own bodies, I really don't care. But isn't it disgusting to torture and even kill an innocent animal just to blow a load? What does it say about humanity in general that we have to turn to this depraved form of amusement just to get off? Is an orgasm really worth a life? Isn't that pure arrogance, to believe that killing something simply for sexual pleasure is okay?
