Seigal held up his sword and blocked Cielle's strike at the last second.
"C'mon, Seigal!" Cielle yelled. "Put in some effort!"
Seigal fell onto one knee with his sword still raised, panting heavily.
"We've been at it since midday, and it's almost evening now. I've been
lucky to get lunch!"
Cielle stood over him with her hands on her hips.
"And your point is?"
Seigal looked at her incredulously.
"Can I have a break, please!?"
Cielle lifted him up briskly by his arm.
"No excuses! You were lucky to come out alive after that fight with
Zearos!"
Seigal held up Bardoch.
"But Bardoch helped me." he protested.
"Exactly! You were lucky. You would've been killed. I don't want that
to happen again."
Seigal paused for a moment.
"Why don't you want it to happen again?"
Cielle paused after she realized what she said.
"Because- I mean... Well..."
Seigal looked at her. He was a little puzzled, but also slightly amused.
"What are you trying to say?"
Cielle looked away stubbornly.
"Nothing! It's- It's important that we all make it through our battles!"
Seigal nodded.
"Fair enough. For a moment I thought that you cared about me. Just
checking."
Cielle froze at Seigal's words. Suddenly, her feelings got the better
of her.
"Don't be stupid!" she shot back. "Of course I care about you! There's
no one else I care about more than-"
Cielle froze in a state of shock after she realized what she had said.
Seigal was at a loss for words. To hear such a thing from Cielle's
much could never be anticipated.
Cielle looked at the ground. And to her dismay, she began to blush a
bright red.
"Cielle..." Seigal began.
She cut him off.
"Shut up." she said stubbornly. "We're having one more round and then
we're finishing."
Seigal still held Bardoch by his side.
"Cielle, I-"
"I said shut up!" Cielle swung her sword at him as a warning.
Seigal didn't move. He stood there looking at Cielle, with a tiny
smile on his face.
"Seigal! Get your butt in gear now!" Cielle was gradually getting
louder and angrier, and she raised her sword to him.
Seigal rolled his eyes and calmy walked towards Cielle.
"Seigal, I swear, I am going to kick your rear if you don't-"
"Cielle, shut up." Seigal replied playfully.
Seigal pushed her sword aside, and gently grasped the back of her head
with his hands.
Cielle was now not only furious but confused.
"What the hell are you-!"
Cielle couldn't finish her sentence. Seigal had covered her mouth with
his lips.
Cielle's eyes went wide. She raised her free hand, and was about to
punch Seigal straight in the face. But, she stopped herself.
Seigal's lips... They felt so nice... She didn't want him to stop. His
kiss was sending an amazing tingling sensation through her body. He
was doing what she wanted, but hadn't brought herself to do.
Cielle dropped her hand to her side, and her sword fell out of her hand.
She wanted more. She put her hands up and around Seigal's back. She
wanted to be as close as she could be to him.
Seigal felt dizzy kissing her. Her lips were so soft. He felt her put
her arms around him, and he did the same.
Eventually, Seigal gently moved his lips away from Cielle's. He was
blushing quite a bit, but Cielle was blushing even more.
"So is training finished?" he asked with an embarrassed smile on his
face.
Cielle nodded slowly. She was trying to clear her head after such an
amazing kiss.
"Yeah," she said playfully. "You won the round."
