Don't Tell Me If I'm Dying Like those before, so also shall all subsequent friendships deteriorate with the passage of time. The sensation of this gradual degradation shall always be unpleasant, despite familiarity of past experience. Embrace friendship while it is yours to have. Do not mourn the friendship lost, but rather rejoice that it existed at all. Steadfastly believe that one day the friendship will be everlasting.
