Dear Journal, (2)
Today was our airport day. We were packed up at our house (3), and then sent to Groome (4). We waited 15 minutes (5), and then off to Atlanta (6). When we got there, we had to get our boarding passes (7). After that, we went through security, where we had to take our shoes off(8 ). We (9) went down to a train (10), and got off at Concord E (11). We went up to (12) our gate, and waited (13) untill (14) they sayed (15) zone 8 (16). We boarded the plane (17), then went off. We now have been experiencing rough air (18 ). It's a little scary (19). Untill (20) tomorow (21) night,
Rachel

1. (I wrote in in like a journal...)
2. (I was like 7, ok? If I don't sound too creative, that was because I hated writing)
3. (which at the time was 6130 Bristol BLVD. If you look it up on Mapquest, I think it was Christmas time from two years ago.)
4. (exact words)
5. (at the Groome place, and Groome is a transportation van that takes people from Fort Benning and Columbus up to the Atlanta Airport )
6. (Ok, the trip was like 3 hours long, I was bored, sitting next to my mom, and the driver was like really reckless. I didn't like how the FORD was sounding like it had transmission problems and was falling apart)
7. (The line for boarding passes took FOR-EBER! I saw these little machine thingies, which gave you your boarding pass, but according to my dad, that was for people who didn't have luggage that needed to go under the plane.)
8. (The floor was friggen cold! It was like a person hadn't touched that floor in centuries, and it was almost like the people who worked there liked to watch people suffer... evil people)
9. put our shoes back on and
10. (correction: it was a subway that was run by computers. I was kinda freaked out by how fast it moved)
11. (E as in Evan. Lol, they thought people were dumb! And CONCOURSE E was every flight coming in and going out of the country. Since we were going to France and Italy, durh, that was the concourse for us.)
12. (WTF, up to? We walked all the way down is better. The flight was all the way at the end of the terminal, excuse me, concourse. I could literally see the airplanes taking off.)
13. like two hours
14. (I didn't know how to spell)
15. (OMG! SAYED?!?! I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO SPELL, AND NOW I DON'T KNOW GRAMMAR?!? SOMEBODY GO BACK IN TIME AND SLAP THE FOURTH GRADER ME!)
16. (they called people by zones, 1 being the most important, 10 being the filler seats. Just look at our number, and think about it when I tell you that we flew economy, which was pretty ok, but the food I hated.)
17. then (when ever you see the number comments without patenthese, that means I added it in right now).
18. (term for: shut up, sit down, buckle up, and stay still)
19. (Ok, just the thought of a big metal tube flying kinda wowed me. And scared me. So when the rough air came along, I was worried about the plane running out of fuel, or falling. I didn't like it. I was clutching Poor Bear the whole time.)
20. (write-o, again. I don't like 4th grade me)
21. (Nope, don't like me. I can't even spell tomorrow. Well...)
22. (Lol, my cursive sucked back then. It was all shakey, and yeah, it sucked. I'm shocked I can read it.)
