It envelopes me
Keeping me safe and numb
Keeping the pain away
Darkness is a getaway
It ensures comfort
It gives you peace
It will keep you out of harms way
Darkness doesn't hurt
it heals wounds
It will let you cry alone without anyone around
Some people fear it
Once you give into its blanket of black
You will find nothing to fright
Only love
Darkness is like a guardian
it saves you from the worlds cruelty
