I had soooooooooooooo much fun today! Me, Rachel (not the one from the zombie shuffle, a different one), my sister, my mum, and Rachels mum Nadine went on the train to the city. I got in some good drawings, which is always great, and listened to some music on Rachels Mp3 player, most of which was by Suicide Ali, and Blood on the Dancefloor, but one thing was by my chemical romance.
When we got to our destination, we had to catch a tram to get to the market. We went to the little brick buildings along the side, first. The first was a cute miniatures store, which also stocked kimidoll things, umbrellas, accessories, and a few other things.
Next we went to the sweet store. We got samples of candy (I picked a butterscotch), and then left. The man seemed really nice, too.
Then I went to the tea store (no-one else wanted to go in), to look at tea, and smell tea leaves, and the lovely clerk gave me some freshly brewed tea, with orange in it (it may actually have been his own tea), and then I felt absolutely terrible to leave. It was lovely tea, though.
Then we went to a fragrance store there were heavy reductions there, and we got 100AUD worth of bath salts, for four bucks (that is an amazing bargain!). It smelt really lovely.
Then we went to a cute parasian boutique, where they sold tiny clothes, that made me want to lose weight so badly, and aprons, and cute doorknobs, and the like, where I yet again bought nothing.
That was the last of the little brick buildings. Then we went into the actual market. Some parts smelt of fish, and others of incense. There were lots of things I liked, but also quite a few I hated. I bought a cute hairstick I have no idea how to use, but that's okay, because I can always use it as a cat toy, a mirror that looks like a pocket watch, a watch that looks like a horned ladybug necklace, and a corset-style shirt I got a five dollar discount on (I wasn't even being manipulative! I just said it was too expensive for me.), and saw some Qi-pacs, I wanted to try, and buy, but they were probably expensive.
At that point we left the market, and went to the nearby christmas shop, where they had strawberry Christmas Lights, and 300 dollar masquerade masks. After realising how out of our comfort zone we were, we caught a tram down the street. My mum saw an outlet of a store, which apparently occurs more than once in the city, that I like, and thinking we were near China town, we got off, just to realise we were no-where near China town. We did find a public bath house, and a huge rock climbing center (though we went to neither.)
