I see the colors has faded from this world
Now it's gray and smells of death
Even the clouds denies the sun to shine
to make things grow
Water is scarce...only the deserts
know where it lays
The animals have disappeared
The human race struggle to survive
They have the faith to keep them going
And hope is a luxuray for thos who, pray
for a peaceful departure from this decaying
world
We saw this coming and we did nothing...
We only have ourselves to blame
We polluted the world with poisoness fumes
to produce meaningless things we don't really need
we turned away from the dieing rain forest...
Soon there will be no tress to make our oxygen..
We are selfish creatures
Now we are standing in the debre from the world before
With the clothes on your backs...
Armageten of the brain will soon follow
It's funny how things seem so trivial now...
We would be lucky to find love and compassion
in this vast waste land we have created
Or even perhaps a flower growing in the acid rain
(This poem was inspired by the movie The Book Of Eli)
