PIRATES
Valeria flailed with all her might to break free from the huge man that was carrying her over his shoulder. Gagged and semi tied, there was no hope to escaping such a huge man but she had to try.
The pirates had docked in Port St Moritz in the middle of the town's 50th anniversary party and had plundered and destroyed half the town. All hell had broken loose...and in the midst of it, she had got caught. Her best friend Ivette was being dragged behind a shed, most likely to be raped, when Valeria had intervened by breaking a broom onto one the attacker's head. Ivette had been able to run away and hide but Valeria had not been able to. The attacker's comrades caught her. One of them said something about her being a 'fine gift' to their captain and that's how she ended up on the pirate's shoulder, hanging like a sack of potatoes.
With horror, she realized she was being taken to the infamous ship "The Phantom" whose captain happened to be a demon. She had heard tales of the ship and its demon captain and cursed crew from the maids that worked in her house. She had also heard stories from some of the crew member's from her father's ship. And being the Governor's daughter would make her position a difficult one with these pirates. So, She decided she would let them think she was maid in the Governor's house.
Without realizing it, she had stopped flailing as she was deep in thought and then suddenly, she was dropped unceremoniously on the hard deck of the ship. She gasped and whimpered as she hit the floor and glared up at the pirate. He chuckled and with a toothy smile, he said "'Aye, a pretty one she is! Me thinks the Capt'n will like her!"
A door burst open...and the Captain, in all his glory, came out of the cabin...to find a young woman laid at his feet. The Captain had long brown hair, light tan skin, a gorgeous body, and red eyes. He had strong features and they also reflected strength and hardness. He looked at her disdainfully and said to his crew "What is this? I said NO HOSTAGES!". The last part he said it barking with anger.
"But Capt'n! We thought you might like some company!...the lass is pretty and a lively one too! She broke a broom on Smith's head...a fiery woman to warm your bed and..." the pirate said but was interrupted by a punch on his face. The Captain had come over to him and punched him, then grabbing him by the collar of his shirt, he shook the man and growled with anger, saying "Did I not say NO HOSTAGES! I made my orders were CLEAR! You imbeciles should know better than to disregard my orders...! I'm the Captain of this ship and you are to do what I say or you can join the fish, deep in the ocean...". He tossed the shaken man to the floor and pulling out his pistol, pointed it at him and said "Give me a good reason to not kill you! A crew member that disobeys is guilty of betrayal...you cannot be trusted..."
The man was stuttering with fear and whatever he said was incoherent. Everyone had been so fixed with the scene before them, that they had not noticed the girl had undone her bindings and was now, standing in between the Captain and the man.
"Stop this! you cannot go on killing people just like that! It's not right!" she said.
"Foolish girl! move aside! This is my ship and I Punish my crew as I see it fit!" the captainn snarled
"But I am NOT part of you crew so I do NOT have to obey you!" she said defiantly
"True...but you are MY hostage and cannot make demands. Or would you rather be at the mercy of my men?" he said smirking
Suddenly, Valeria felt very conscious of herself and was frightened...The men were looking at her with a hungry look...nevertheless, she stood her ground, though shakily. The Captain was losing his patience with her, and grabbed her arm and forcefully moved her beside him, not releasing her...and with his free hand, he pulled up the disobedient pirate by his hair and then pushed him overboard. The pirate knew how to swim...the problem was him being able to swim to land since they had already left the bay and had put quite the distance from land. Plus it was a bit difficult to see even though the moon was shining bright and...there were sharks to worry about...
Valeria started to struggle again, demanding to be released and taken back home...but the Captain was to his wits end and snarled at his crew to go back to his duties...then he dragged the kicking girl to his cabin and slammed the door behind him. The crew knew he was very angry and were mindful to not upset him even more as they went about their business...and to a certain extent felt a bit sorry for the girl who would experience the Captain's wrath first hand...
Valeria had cried out in pain when he finally released her. He had an iron grip on her and it had hurt her. When he had pushed her into his cabin, she had tripped and fallen as well. She looked up at him, with an angry look and near to tears, and screamed at him "TAKE ME HOME NOW!"
The Captain merely glared at her and laughed, then with a condescending tone, he replied "I'm afraid it's not possible, Miss. We're already far from land and I'm intelligent enough to know that if we went back, the Navy would be there and it would be a complete suicide. So Like it or not, for the time being, you'll have to stay here...and if you don't do what I say, then I'll toss you to my men, who will not be as kind as I am..."
She was about to insult him and tell him he was the most despicable man she had ever met but bit her lower lip to stop herself. She looked away and remained silent.
Not knowing what else to do with her, he left his 'problem' in his cabin and went to the ship's helm. His first mate, Rashid, was steering the ship...but when he noticed the Captain coming, he stepped away, knowing that the Captain liked to steer the wheel when he was distressed and he could see the distress ebbing from him. Without a word, Rashid left the Captain at the helm alone, to brood while he steered the ship to their next destination...
((So if you want to do this one, you'll have to give the Captain a name...))
