The man and woman stood back to back. Facing off against the pair of demons.
The man with black hair was wearing an all black suit of clothes and weilded a dark looking scythe. The woman, who had extremely long white hair that flowed along the ground. and was wearing a suit of clothing in mostly white, was wielding two long white and gold swords.
" how do you think our odds fare here Scythe?" the woman in white asked.
"about as good as they usually do Rachel." the man known as Scythe replied.
Bothe of them readied themselves and flew into the fight, Scythe weilded his weapon like a demon flashing around and slicing at the Crons with unholy speed and strength.
Rachel on the otherhand seemed to more glide around the battlefeild with a grace and elagence seen only in a few proud warriors, but her blows with the sword were just as devastating as Scythes.
Scythe struck out at the Crons one by one, but each one seemed to be unharmed by his attacks. Even so he continued his assualt till one Cron Caught his scythe and flung him sailing into Rachel.They both crashed into the dirt and tried to get up but a pair of Crons pinned them down.
"Mizu"
The Crons Jumbed away as large spears of ice wrapped around the ground where they had the two pinned down.
Axl and Gekkou helped the two up,
"who are you?"
"my names Axl, from what i heard your Scythe right."
"uh uh yeah, wow you have good hearing"
"compliments later man!" Axl slapped him on the back," we have work to do"
The Crons began circling around the group. One Crone stepped forward and was instantly sent flyin back as Axl slammed his elbow into it chest. After that the fighting began. All the Crons jumped the group and the group retaliated.
Axl felled off one instantly by summoning his sword and slicing it in two. Gekkou felled another with two well placed fireballs, one to its stomach, and another pointblank to its head. Scythe shredded one with a few twirls of his scythe and Rachel put two well placed slices to anothers head. the groups onslaught right of the start made the other Crons step back and begin to circle again.
"Enough!" came a booming voice from behind the Crons. They all stopped circling and huddled back behind a man, who looked human.
" Crons being taken out by a rabble of demons." The man stepped forward," you there with the red hair, you are the one who killed my brother Dusk are you not."
Axl tensed up.
" Then you are the one i wanna kill first." Static and lightning began to form around the man," They call me Zonah, Demon of Lightning"
Zonah began to float and charged at Axl with lightning bolt blades in hand.
