Howdy! I haven't really had a chance to write in here in a while. stare My stupid sister has been hogging the computer, plus I've just been too busy. I had a band practice on monday and tuesday, an ensemble practice on wednesday, and we've been going out and about after all of those, so I don't even get home until like nine o' clock. I also had a choir concert on monday, and I've got a band concert today...speaking of which, I had a jazz band practice today!! gonk
Well, ice skating with my cousin was really fun!! I didn't do the greatest, but hey, there were others doing worse. 3nodding The best part was, we got to go eat chinese food afterwords. But then I had to go home
Man!! School has just been soooo boring lately, that I'm practically going insane!! Today was a little better, though, because someone spilled mercury in our science room during first hour. I wasn't there, but just hearing about it was entertaining. They had to evacuate the class room, and put tape around the door so none of it would leak out when it evaporated into the air. We didn't have to do this boring lab experiment today thanks to that. blaugh YAY!!
I'm really excited for the band concert tonight. I have a solo in jazz band, and it's really cool and fun to play. *sigh* I just wish someone cared. The last time I told people about solo's that I have, they don't seem to care; not my friends, not my family. The only person that really seems to care, is my grandpa, because he used to play the trumpet too. He can't come to this concert, though, because he's on vacation with Grandma. So yeah, I didn't tell anyone about this one.
4laugh It's weird, about half of last year, and about half of this year, I've just been going through this artist's block or something. But finally I've broken free of that and practically exploded with some new drawings!! I've been drawing pretty good lately. But not as good as my friends. All of them can draw better than me...except one sweatdrop ...yeah, it's kinda depressing. I think maybe I have too big of an ego or something. I know I don't show it, but inside, I have a lot of pride in my work, and when I see something better than mine, I do get a little upset, because I know I'll never be that good. But not enough to get mad about it. I LOVE it when my friends show me their artwork. blaugh My cousin shows me her artwork a lot (and I enjoy every bit of it), but my friend I always hang out with at school never does. She did give me one of her pictures, though, and that made me super happy. My cousin has given me drawings too!! It makes me soooo happy when my friends give me pictures they drew. I like to hang them on my wall to see every day. 4laugh
Uhg, I can't wait till state solo + ensemble gets over with. This really sucks, because it's the first day of spring break. gonk THATS SO STUPID!! scream
That means I can't die my hair purple until the weekend before spring break gets over!! Yeah, did I mention I'm going to die my hair purple? Well, yeah, I am, and I can't wait. xd
Heehee, choir festival was yesterday...We got all ones from all three judges!! Ying. I'm just really glad they didn't decide to go to state. sweatdrop I'm so sick of all the same songs every single day of my fricking life!! Like half the class wanted to go to state, but luckily, our choir teacher doesn't like it, so we're not gonna go. blaugh
Uh oh, I'm done writing...hopefully it'll let me submit this entry, the last time I tried to, it wouldn't let me. scream Whats with this website anyway? It's been really slow lately, and has frozen up a couple of times in the towns thing... sweatdrop If anyone knows whats up, feel free to tell me on a comment for this entry!!
