Yeah, some really messed up s**t went down yesterday... Ugh! Kill me now! Life is going in the opposite direction for me! Instead of spiralling into perpetual sorrow, things are actually looking up! crying I don't deserve this! Damn it! Ahhhhh! Seriously... You should love anyone other than me ok? You really should... I don't deserve to be loved any more than the next person! Give them the love! I would rather live in eternal darkness then steal someone else's chance at being happy... All my friends are nuts, but you gotta love them for their personalities! 3nodding They do their best and kuddos to them for it! but why am I always the guardian? Why me? Am I born to protect those around me? Is that my one true mission in life? If it is, wouldn't it be better if I separated myself from everyone? I probably should... It's for the best right? But no! This world is on it's last reserves! We're barely keeping ourselves intact! Thousands of people no millions probably die everyday! And you know what? We can prevent it all! Did you know that a simple smile can change the outcome of everything? I bet you didn't did you? I read this poem in a chicken soup for the teenage soul book... When I find that book I'll post it here, but for now I'll say what I remember ok?
Here goes: A man on the bus smiled at another man who was deeply depressed. The man was so overwhelmingly happy that he left a large tip for a waitress. The waitress was so overwhelmed that she bet it all on a hunch and won on her way home she felt generous and gave half of the money to a poor man on the street. The man was so happy because he hadn't eaten in days. After he ate a very satisfying meal he picked up a stray dog on his way home. He brought the dog into his apartment and allowed ot to stay the night. During the night the house caught fire and the dog barked the alarm saving everyone. All this happened because of a smile that didn't cost a dime.
