Growing up he was a quiet boy with little interest in the world around him or those in it. Growing up in one of the lesser known Rukon districts it was not a hard life. Wanting for nothing and always having enough food so as never to go hungry. But this was far from enough for this youth, constantly out in the vast country sides it seemed Aido did not care much for his own existence. Many a time was he attacked by hollows as he went about his long walks but when ever they showed up he simply starred them down and only for the shinigami he would have been killed many times over. It was almost as if they were his guardian angels, showing up precisely when he was in danger. But he never talked to them or thanked them, turning away he would continue his walk.
This however changed in the blink of an eye. Although the boy never spoke to anyone or even showed an interest in those who called him family he loved his younger sister and brother deeply. They were twins and in the background Aido did everything he could to keep them safe and happy. One day however during his hikes he failed to notice the twins secretly following close behind. Playing a game the ran from one tree to the other stalking Aido who was oblivious for the longest time until a scream broke his daydream walk. Turning lazily around he spotted his sister on the ground covered in a crimson liquid and he brother no where in site. She seemed to be looking in the direction of the tree line. Without hesitation Aido shot forward towards her running as fast as he could but moment before he was about to reach her a large hollow emerged from the treeline. But this did not cause him to falter. As the hollow reached out it hand to retrieved the girl Aido lunged forward with all his power and slammed into the creatures forearm knocking it away but before Aido could reach the ground to gain his balance the hollows other arm shot around and hit him with such force it sent him flying back with break neck force. Fighting to keep conscious, he could only watched on as the hollow devoured his loving sister. A moment later shinigami appeared and slaughtered the hollow but it did not matter at this point, they were gone. From that moment on Aido swore he would get power no matter the cost and becoming a shinigami was a perfect way to do so.
With that he entered the academy and trained, studied and fought like a man possessed. Passing everything at the top of his class. Friends were of no concern to him but being surrounded by people day in day out and having to rely on them when it came time for missions, bonds were formed regardless of weather he wished them to be or not. Though on one particular mission on earth he lost one of those people he would call friend which only brought up the feeling of helplessness once again. With that his training increasing 10 fold. His made obsession for power was born, he never wished to feel weak again though because of past incidences getting close to anyone was now next to impossible for Aido. So when he caught wind of the Vizard-class shinigami he was now not only determined to be a Captain, but also a Vizard class Captain.

As seen up the top and much like the actual release of the sword, the spirit possesses a human like one though with no face. Sono usually takes the appearance of a muscular male with a red tattoo on its left shoulder, its lower half covered by the tattered remains of a Hakama. Its skin is gray and no face is ever seen with the body, if one was to see the spirit face to theoretical face then they may be slightly unnerved by what they see. Even though the spirits appearance is thus, it can also speak and see perfectly fine. Because no true shape is present there is no true gender for the spirit though once again the male preference is usually taken when the spirit materialises. This form is about 9 feet tall and very muscular.
- Zanpakuto Sealed Form: Jet black katana with intricit silver embroidery on the tsuba and holt. The blade itself is also pure black in color with a nice metalic sheen that reflects the light nicely.
- Zanpakuto Shikai Activation Statement: Taisan, Sono Shiranai
- Zanpakuto Shikai Appearance: No absolute appearance though when released the sword completely disintegrates, handle and all into a metallic like mist.
- Zanpakuto Shikai Abilities:
* The metallic like mist created from the shikai released has two separate abilities. The first being that the mist itself can act as a weapon and can cut an opponent where ever it touches their skin though the wounds are not overly deep though enough cuts can begin to cause serious problems due to blood loss. Also it can be used as a defensive shield if required.
* The second ability, and Aidos much preferred skill, allows Aido to form the mist into any weapon he can possibly imagine. There is no limit in size for it can rang from a simple dagger to the size of a scythe or Naginata. The mist in Shikai can only create only one weapon or two dagger sized weapons, at a time though the weapon can also be broken into parts, for instance if the mist forms into a sword and the sword is somehow broken in two the the broken shard(s) can be controlled separately by Aido's will. His favorite weapon to create is that of a rather uniquily shaped scythe
*The mist can also be concentrated onto a certain limb to increase damage such as a fist or metal boots.

- Zanpakuto Bankai Appearance: At this stage of release the Bankai has once again no absolute appearance. The Mist now joins Aidos body and he becomes the mist though some still lingers so his shikai abilities remain.

* The first noticeable thing about Aidos bankai is that the mist now increases greatly in size. This allows for the shikai attacks to still be used though in larger quantity. Up to 10 separate weapons can be formed and controlled individually. * The next ability allows Aido to become one with the mist allowing him to break his body down into a mist form and then reform somewhere else.
