Some things cannot be healed easily...
"Dragon?" Koopa asked, kneeling next to me and shaking my shoulder. "Dragon, are you okay?"
There was no response.
"This can't be good," Squirrelly said, pacing back and forth while looking at me.
Looking back at me, Skully grinned and raised his hammer. "If she dies, I will be the strongest person in all of Gaia!!!"
Skully was suddenly hit by three diffrent spell attacks as three diffrent voices cried out, "DON'T HURT DRAGON!"
As Skully fell to the ground and started to twitch, Koopa and Squirrelly saw that the third caster was Dracona. Hurrying over, Dracona said, "I had a sense that Dragon was back and in trouble." Spotting me lying on my face behind the other two, Dracona asked, "Why the hell haven't you two tried to heal her?!"
"We were too busy protecting her from Nogard," Koopa said, picking up my egg and beginning to cuddle it.
"...I wanted to smash Nogard..." Skully groaned before passing out again.
"Well," Dracona said, adjusting her hat. "Let's see what I can do." Raising her arms, Dracona cast Curaga. Noticing nothing had changed, Dracona cast Curaga again...and again...and again.
"Why isn't it working?" Squirrelly asked.
"I don't know!" Dracona said. "Curaga is supposed to heal everything!"
"Then it's not a normal wound," Koopa said. "Damnit! Where's Creighton when you need him?"
"Hey guys, what's--DRAGON!" Chazu exclaimed, hurrying over. Gently turning me over, Chazu gaped at the wound in my stomach. "What the hell happened to her!?"
"We don't know!" Koopa said. "Larkin and Nogard were here. Nogard was about to slit Dragon's throat if I hadn't stopped her!"
"WHAT?!" Chazu exclaimed. Growling, he said, "None of you tried to heal her?"
"Dracona tried using Curaga," Squirrelly said. "But it didn't work."
Swearing, Chazu said, "Lemme try my Sealing Liquids spell."
Holding me in one arm, Chazu removed the torn scarf from my stomach and turned his right hand into liquid form. Washing the wound in my stomach with his liquified hand, Chazu used water pressure to force the wound to close. Changing the density of the water, Chazu turned it into a strong thread to sew the wound close and to seal it.
The spell appeared to be holding much like using a thread and needle on a human would--it didn't heal the wound immediately; but it did at least stop the bleeding.
At that moment, Creighton came up. Looking at the group, then at my passed out form, Creighton roughly took me from Chazu. I appeared to be a small child in Creighton's arms because his worry for me had him all but changing into his uncontrollable beastial dragon form. "What the hell are you doing to her!?"
"I was healing her!" Chazu replied. "And becareful with her! Who knows what other injuries she may or may not have!"
"Healing her! HEALING HER!" Creighton shouted. "Any one of you could have very well been the one to do this to her!"
"We did nothing!" Koopa shouted back. "Nogard and Larkin had her when we showed up!"
"Nogard...saved me...from Orsnic..." I muttered before passing out again.
"Nogard saved you?" Creighton asked, looking at me as all his anger and fear was replaced by utter surprise. "From Orsnic?"
The others all had equal looks of shock on their faces.
"I am going to take her back to her place for an hour or so," Creighton said. "She is going to need some additonal treatment and the items she will need can only be found at her house."
