I do hate to be the person to complain, however it annoys me to no end to see simpletons with no imagination copying the ideas of a creative soul almost verbatim without any semblance of guilt or hesitation. I have met many extraordinary people on this site who have within them the capacity to create worlds of unique characters with absolutely no similarity to each other. One can easily understand if a role play specifically states that you can only use a certain type of character, then there will be more restrictions. However for a place with absolutely unlimited types of supernatural creatures, there is often seen a lack of originality. Most prefer the route of going with whatever type of creature is popular with the general media. Now you may look at my character and say that I am only being a hypocrite, but the character I portray is not in any means a normal vampire. (Yes, I despise Twilight with every fiber of my being.)
I am not in any way trying to point fingers or direct this to a certain person. All I wish is that you might take the time to research your character thoroughly and explore the numerous creatures and beings that are seldom used as characters. Many lists of demons, mythological, and creatures of superstition are available online for your perusal. Use the data you find to build a unique character that will not be forgotten. All due respect intended. -Lord Katsuto
