Bit The Bullet
Strong is man who makes his pain his comfort
Great is a man who makes his fear his courage
I don't claim to know the world’s vast torment
But I know enough for my wisdom to encourage
The fire within that feeds this furnace
The kindled rage that knows no bounds
With a break neck pace I seek and destroy this
Self-pity so self-endowed

Like respect common courtesy should be given freely
You tied your own noose when you forsaken me
I bit the bullet for your senseless greed
Don’t consider your life so easily freed

By my hands and my hands alone
I decided without hesitation to surrender myself
When I tasted blood and felt the grinding of bone
I traded my joy for your eternal hell
I took your place countless times upon the chopping block
I cared for you and forgot about me
Broken wings and bloody feathers, I'm unable to care for who I see

Like pity you only get as much as you give
You broke me beyond a point to easily forgive
I bit the bullet for your senseless needs
Don’t consider yourself so easily redeemed

You always were the epitome of her
Jealousy the green eyed beast
I swallowed my pride and nearly died
How could I be so pathetic and weak?
Forced to lie in this bed of ruin
Unable to undo the damage of your deceit
The forked tongued words spray with disregard
And I stood idly by as you sowed your seeds

Like mercy you will fall if you give too much
You ripped my life from my fingers with your tainting touch
I bit the bullet and in turn you merely breed
Don’t think for a moment that I'll let you continue to breath
