For hours she had been drawing,anything from random doodles to full blown pieces. It was raining out and she was home alone. Finaly setting the sketchbook down, she rolled onto her side and yawned sleepily. Her hand cramped from drawing so much, but she didn't care...Atleast she had something to show for it. After awhile she sat up and peered out the window, only to be greeted by thick sheets of rain. The house was silent, sending goosebumps across her skin. She slid off the edge of the bed and stood,stretching out lazily. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bare feet splashed in the huge puddles that had formed, big fat droplets of rain pelting her as she danced around. It felt good, the water cold and refreshing. She laughed and twirled around, hair whipping around her face. A bus full of people peered at her as it drove by and she waved at them not caring what they thought. Some waved back, but others shook their heads and turned to go back to whatever they were doing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ She ran along the streets, feeling a sense of freedom. Rain sometimes did that, making her feel like she was invincible. She slowed as she came across a small cafe.. She slipped inside the front door,and sighed contently at the warmth. With no money she couldn't buy anthing, but she admired some of the art on the walls as she warmed up. A man with green eyes watched her curiously for awhile, eventually ambling over with a small cup of coffee. ''You know you can catch the sickness running around out there in that rain.'', he drawled as she took the cup blushing lightly. She nodded a mumbled a soft thank you. He waved a hand dismissively and grinned. ''It isn't nothing, but when your done come to the front...I'm going to have you clean up the water youve dripped across the floor. She took a sip of the warm deliciousness and peered at the floor..Oh..Woops.. She sighed and he laughed, heading back to the front counter.
