Resurrect

Wallowing in my self-doubt
These disincentives have come to own me
Indecision is all I have found
Indecisiveness is my worst enemy
Consistent falls from grace
Fragments of my dreams lay hopelessly around me
Aspirations laid to waste
A resent that is so consuming.

I beg to be compelled
I thirst for resurrection
Motivation all but derailed
Torn from my protection

Is there anything left to grasp?
I'm losing what I have left of my grip
This moment i dwell in seems to be my last
Take the lashes, don't spare the whip
A broken solace is my last emotional asset
Hell bars the way of eternal peace
This scornful sorrow, i long renounce it
So hungry for a brief release

I beg to be compelled
I thirst for resurrection
Motivation all but derailed
Torn from my protection

Reduced to the status of an infant
Unable to stand im made to crawl
Yet why is it i do not feel pathetic?
Though I've reached my limit, haven't we all?
My allegiance to devotion rises above this oppression
My swear to determination is an unbreakable bond
I've come too far for thoughts of regression
I have no choice but to boldly move on
