I've actually never blogged before, nore do I understand the feeling of doing so... but I'm clearly in a "blogging mood".
I think it's more of a writing mood, but Blogging sounds more official.
I was going to use this journal area as a place to keep my Gaia Radio scripts. I used to be a part of Gaia radio, but life got in the way and my Audacity (editing program) was just giving too much attitude to my computer.
So instead, I'll just blog, mmkay?
I'm currently in Georgia. Atlanta, to be exact. Last weekend I was on Sanibell Island (if anyone is familiar with that area) and the weekend before hand I was on the other coast of Florida, though I'm from the west coast.
Needless to say, I've been doing a lot of traveling. Don't get me wrong, I love to travel and get out to places, but it's the "getting out" part that's just extremely stressful. I feel like packing has become a new pasttime for myself, and I'm constantly having that feeling of forgetting something, which isn't always pleasent.
There are a ton of advertisments while in an airport about "making traveling easier by buying this". I've blown a decent ammount of money purchasing these items to make traveling easier, but they're really only even more frustrating because they are extra items to carry. Not fun.
But I'm glad I'm finally able to see family. Family is good to see every now and then. Everyone lives in different states/countries, so it's hard for all of us to get together, and even harder for all of us to be together. Half Jewish and Half Italian families never really have those "peaceful dinner" nights.
I'm currently taking over their basement. I love it down here, really. I don't mean to sound like the 40-year-old dude living in his mom's basement, but it's like my very own man cave, or...wo-man-cave? Girl cave? How would I properly title it?
I'm just stealing wifi, bugging Gaia, and trying to burn the next twenty minutes so that I don't have to help with dishes. =D
I'm "Working on research for school", which has been out since May.... but they don't have to know that. Gaia counts.
Hopefully I can keep this blog up and actually get pictures and such on here. It would be great, truely.
