Pokemon Journal Entry #1
Sunday, October 30th, 2011.

Well, mom says I should start writing in this thing now, even though my real "Pokemon journey" hasn't even started yet. But I guess now's better then ever to get an idea of what'll be happening.
My name is Alexandra Dawn, and I'm 16 years old. I hate the fact that I'm starting my Pokemon journey so late in my life. Most kids my age are already extremely experienced with their Pokemon, and are headed on their way to the big leauges. But my mom and I moved so much the past couple years, I never got too settled in to become acquainted with any of the Pokemon professors, so I had to settle with just being a normal, Pokemon-less kid.
Not that I wasn't familiar with being around Pokemon. My mom brought our pet Eevee, Kiko, with us everywhere we went, the most recent place being the Kanto region. That is, until mom finally got a job offer from the Sinnoh region working for Professor Rowan as a lab assistant. She'd been in training at facilities in the Johto, Hoenn, and lastly Kanto regions, and this was the job she'd been hoping for.
So now, we live in Twinleaf town. Turns out the most recent Pokemon champion, Lucas, lived in this town, so my hopes are set high. If to add to the party, there just happens to be another 16 year old Pokemon trainer, who's only a bit more experienced then I am. Sterling Foster, that being his name, was amazing with his Turtwig, and I was siked to find out he was interested in helping me with training once I got my first Pokemon, which'll hopefully be tomorrow. Mom says after I'm finished writing this, we'll eat supper, go to bed, and head out in the morning to Sandgem town to visit Professor Rowan. He gladly informed my mom that he had an extra Pokemon to offer me in return that I fill a Pokedex for him. Concerning there are so many kids out there doing this for him, I don't understand why he needs me to fill one too, but Sterling says that every individual trainer will see and learn things differently, so maybe it's for my benefit that I do this.
Anyway, time for supper!
Peace!
