Mouth dry, With words I cant speak.
Tipped tongued, those words diving into a pool of nervousness that screams fallacy
Arms that're phantomed, warmth already claimed, clung to someone dear.
But I still hold on, listening to the heartbeat that's to someone elses ears.
My palms become moist with the fever of shy delegations and feverish accusations that I cant fathom
Heart be still for this notion if unforgivable, treason to my moral grave
But my haven is with you, your glass stained and cracked, haven miserable and dead.
Mercy on my heart, for it isn't right, broken into a million pieces, shards stabbing the wrong parts.
Misplaced sanity find your way back to me, for I fear I've taken a sip from the wrong cup.
