XXXXXX"Ha, take that!", Zoey yelled. She and Cameron both laughed. They were playing the PS3 in her room. Thats when Zoey heard her father's booming deep voice. "Zoey Jade Cross! Come down stairs now!", he yelled. Zoey growled at her full name & rolled her eyes. She paused the game & got up. Cameron looked very annoyed as they walked down to Zoey' father's study. Zoey stood there arms crossed over her chest, her long black and purple hair in a ponytail, & in a pair of cut off jean shorts, flip flops, & a tank top. "What is it you want now & its Zoe not Zoey.", she said coldly. She hated her parents, they acted like she was an illness they could get. Cameron stood next to her being the protective best friend he was.
XXXXXX"Alright then, we'll cut right to the chase!", her mother snapped. She was a tall, skinny woman with chin length blonde hair, & jade green eye. The only thing she shared with Zoey along with an athletic body shape. Her mother looked like a Barbie doll. Her father on the other hand, looked like someone from an military comic. With his pitch b;acl neatly cut hair & muscular body build. Her silky hair color came form him. But it fit her so much better. "we're sending you to a reform school for young magical begins in need of help.", he said firmly. Cameron glanced at Zoey & saw a fire burning in her eyes. He knew what was coming next. Pretty little Zoey was about to blow a fuse.
XXXXXXZoey balled up her fist & looked at the ground. She was trying to hold back her anger. "So your sending me away.", she whispered. She looked up & saw the cold careless eyes of her so called parents. She couldn't leave. Her friends, her life, & Cameron were all here in this town. Cameron saw her shaking as hot tears ran down her face. He put his hands on her shoulders gently. "Zoe, calm down...", he whispered in her ear. His voice was so deep, gentle, & familiar & normally calmed her right away. But not this time she was way to pissed off. She pulled away form him & slammed her fist on the desk. Causing it to shake. "I'll got to your damn reform school! But not for you! I'm going because it'll putt me a thousand miles away from you!", she yelled. She then quickly ran out of the study & up to her room. Cameron glared at her parents. "I hope your happy.", he growled. he then ran after Zoey.
XXXXXXCameron sighed seeing Zoey's door closed & hearing "My Immortal" playing at full blast. He knock no her door & waited for an answer. Nothing came. "Zoe, come on, let me in.", he called through the door and over the music. Zoey was sitting on her window sit staring out the window at the ocean view. She sighed & pulled her knees up to her chest & wrapped her arms around her legs. She sat her head on her knees. "It's unlocked...", she called back not looking away from the window. Cameron walked in & saw her. He smiled a bit & opened the window, letting the ocean air in. He then sat next to her & looked out the window. "It won't be so bad, Zoe...You'll make new friends. Even a new best friend. Everyone loves you.", he said smiling at her. 'But no one will ever love you like I do.', he thought. Zoey lifted her head up & looked at him. Had he lost his mind? Why was he acting this way? He never acted like this in less worried. He was always acting big & bad. She smiled a bit. She knew now he was worried about her. She scooted over next to him & laid her head on his shoulder. "Cam, your an idiot. Because, no one can ever take your place as my best friend.", she whispered. Cameron blushed a bet & smiled. He really did secretly love this girl. For more reasons then he could count. He hugged her & just sat there, with her in his arms, looking out the window wondering what he was going to do about this reform school thing.
