Pages 1-10
The story begins with a young demon named Birdy minding her own business by a pool of water on a wonderful sunny day also in this pool was a mermaid who stopped to listen to the demon girl's song that she was humming. Meanwhile, Lazuli, a demon hunter sees Birdy and sneaks up behind her and basically threatens her well being. Birdy fights back and the mermaid helps. Tirac, (who is in fact yours truly) a powerful centaur overlord w ho has been dwelling in the forest for some time Watches the fight, enjoying it, showing considerable disdain for the mermaid. Lazuli notices Tirac and tries to ignore him at first but he notices her as well and glares at her until she tells him to just “come at her already”. At this time, an angel named Rose comes to earth, sending a blinding flash of light through the forest, right when Tirac was going to attack.
Birdy the demon, in the meantime was still running from Lazuli when she stumbled into Rose, not wanting to harm him but claiming he's beautiful.
Tirac is preparing to fight Lazuli when the flash of light takes away his eyesight, he roars and swipes around trying to get her but cannot see. Lazuli is also affected but not as much as her attacker. Rose is watching the fiht from a distance. Rose surprisingly becomes acquaintances with Birdy quickly.
The fight between Tirac and Lazuli causes minor wounds for both the centaur and the demon hunter. Lazuli changes up her strategy and allows Tirac to catch her so she cuts him in the arm with her flaming sword and sets his mane on fire. Meanwhile, two humans named Aron and Melody join in to watch the battle. It ends right about then though, Tirac angrily leaps into a river and lazuli realizes her wound is actually pretty deep. Aron, Melody and Rose come to Lazuli once Tirac leaves, Melody offers to help her.
Tirac sits in the river and complains like a spoilt child, then leaves.
Aron heals Lazuli's wound and in the meantime, Tirac makes himself as comfortable as possible, light a fire and kills a bird which isn't much to eat so he'll still be hungry.
Melody and Aron invite Lazuli to their cabin for something to eat and they all introduce themselves. Lazuli somehow enjoyed the fight and expects that it was not the complete extent of what Tirac was capable of.
Still sulking by his fire, Tirac swears we'll never let another human girl near him. (yeah.... RIIIGHT)
Aron, Melody and Lazuli start off for Aron and Melody's cabin whilst a Lycan named Lenora has been having nightmares up in a tree all night and wakes up to make sure all of her assassin weapons are still with her. Tirac hears her scream when she wakes up and throws a rock at her. Lenora angrily asks Tirac if he wants something. Tirac says that in exchange for food or medicine that he'll kill her enemies for her. She turns down his offer but gives him some salve that sterilizes wounds and stops irritation. Tirac uses some on the cut on his arm and gives it back. The centaur is hesitant and confused by the act of kindness. He unnaturally tells her “thank you”. Then the two go their separate ways.
Lazuli, Melody and Aron finally arrive at the cabin, Aron asks Lazuli where she lives and she says “near the village in a hut”. They all sit down and have chicken stew and talk about Lazuli's occupation ,revealing she's not just a demon hunter but a blacksmith as well. Lazuli says she shouldn't have tried to attack Tirac with only her sword and she'll go home later to get more weapons.
Meanwhile Tirac is very very hungry and his keen, equine sense of smell draws him to the cabin. He catches himself though and accuses himself of being a dumb animal. Tirac passes out on the forest floor.
Lazuli has the ability to sense demonic auras, she's able to tell that Tirac is close by and quickly makes a hasty goodbye and attempts to leave but Aron manages to hold her back quite some time until she actually does. Meanwhile, Tirac's rainbow of darkness has begun healing him, a painful process that caused him to moan and growl.
Birdy, the demon from earlier was sleeping in a tree and fell out, she didn't quite remember where she was. She sees Tirac and recognizes him, taking pity on him and realizing that he's sick. She touches him and sees that he as a fever. Tirac slowly comes around, somehow Birdy is not intimidated by his rainbow of darkness, nor his fangs. The rainbow quickly hides back in its satchel when Birdy approaches however. He opens his eyes and asks Birdy who she is. She tells Tirac her name and presses some sort of healing moss into his wound. This makes Tirac growl, the herb burns a bit. Tirac attempts to sit up but ends up staying on the ground, he swishes his tail and tells Birdy his name.
In a tavern in the village, another demon hunter named Antonio is obviously looking for Lazuli. He's a less imposing demon hunter who only kills demons that are assigned to him. He doesn't really know who Lazuli is from the sound of it.
Meanwhile, Railak a scary, violent and destructive dragon flies overhead he wanted to destroy things.
An alchemist, archangel, 10 year old; “Diazo Reva Figero, Archangel of Creation”
decides this is “the perfect spot” to ******** up everything. So he builds a thirty foot wall in a 3 mile square radius. (mother of god!)
Railak sees the wall (is almost hit by it) and recognizes Diazo as his friend he goes to find him.
Back in realistic character land, Birdy tells Tirac that Lazuli also tried to kill her. Tirac tells her congrats on surviving and finally manages to sit up. He feels what Archangel-boy has done and wonders if someone is trying to trap them there (no s**t Tirry) Tirac asks Birdy if she's seen anyone suspicious but looks up and sees Railak, he decides to use the rainbow of darkness on the dragon and takes aim. (nnnooooo Tirry... Don't feed the trolls!!!) Railak is completely unaware that Tirac is targeting him and flies on.
Diazo notices the confusion of the other characters (that shouldn't really be noticeable from where he is you fat ugly metagamer) and also Railak. He proceeds to make 100 metal soldier thingies and flies up on top of the wall to watch. (lets pretend the soldiers aren't there because even Tirac doesn't seem to notice them)
Tirac goes all “behold the power of the darkness” and blasts the rainbow at Railak, hoping it will hit him so he can gain a dragon slave. Birdy doesn't like the rainbow and calls out Tirac's name. However, Diazo the auto-hitting warlord 10 year old encompasses Tirac in a ball of solid iron, ironically enough telling the centaur “now that isn't really fair” (kinda like your godmodding you piece of s**t?)
Tirac bucks and kicks at the orb to try and break through, the rainbow returns and helps it's master, weakening the metal so he can kick right through it. He makes a “getting rusty” pun but his leg was badly twisted in the process. Railak sends a beam of darkness at Tirac, however, seing as Tirac's rainbow is just darkness the two combine and make this ******** up arc in the sky.
Tirac tells the dragon that dark magic won't harm him and that they have the same type of power. Railak laughs and calls Tirac a “puny creature” and that their power cannot possibly be the same. Birdy angrily shouts that the goddess will get angry if they destroy the forest, no one listens. Archangel-10 year old-alchemist Diazo makes a flying metal man and goes up to his dragon buddy, attempting to make light conversation.
Tirac takes offense to being called puny and announces himself as the master of Midnight Castle. He summons back his rainbow and is pretty pissed off.
The dragon thinks Tirac's title is pretty funny."We are the Apostles of Darkness, Creation and Destruction. You have no chance." He says. (wow... sooo scary..) He fires a blast at Birdy (who didn't even do anything to deserve it.)
Tirac tells Railak he also had his powers given to him by Darkness, making them metaphorical brethren. He forcibly grabs Birdy, pinning her to his waist and hisses that she belongs to him.
Diazo doesn't bother to do a DNA test and angrily says Tirac is not related to him. And that Tirac is a babe compared to their power and might. “be trapped for all eternity in hell” a huge hole straight to the center of the earth opens up under Tirac. (Darth Vader's lucky this little Gary Stu isn't Luke Skywalker)
