Hearing my voice, pain filled, Ada looks concerned now. Not what I was going for.... Sherry has come over and Chris is helping Piers up, who has requested that Chris help him over to me. Sherry and him are the only two in this group with medical experience.
Sherry helps me sit up and starts to take my shirt off. I do what I can, but the pains getting the best of me. When my shirt's off, I fall forward, blacking out for a second. Jake catches me,"Come on, your not gettin' out of this that easily."
I open my eyes again and balance myself with my hands. Jake keeps a hand around my chest to keep me up while Sherry examines my back. Piers is next to her helping. Claire and Chris are infront of me now, in between Ada on my right and Jake on my left. Chris,"How bad is his back?"
Piers,"He's experienced intense burns. Right now, there's nothing we can do for it."
Sherry,"He can walk if he wants to. If we can find a water source, we can help the wound."
Chris nods,"We'll need to find one anyway. Leon, do you think you can walk?"
I look up,"Yeah."
Jake grabs my left side, Chris my other, and the two help me up. I'm in pain, but I can handle it. Piers gets up with the help of Sherry and Claire. Ada takes off the jacket and makes me wear it so I have something covering my back,"You need it more than I do."
I nod,"I can walk by myself. Help Piers."
Jake lets me go, but Piers is refusng help too. Chris,"Are you two sure your alright?"
We nod and Chris lets it go. Chris and Jake lead us through the forest, looking for some sort of river or stream. Our pace is slow, but Piers and I don't seem to be having a problem.
