I put away the knife,"I'm not going to hurt you. How did you get here?"
The boy is hesitant,"Your....your not with Umbrella?"
"No, are they after you?"
He nods slowly,"I ran away....from their base....they we're going to experiment on me...but I got away before they did anything..."
"Come with us. We'll help you. I'm sure your hungry, right?"
He nods and slowly gets up, but falls, hugging his stomach. He's shaking from the cold to badly to get up. Only having a short sleeved shirt and jeans on with this cold wind doesn't help. I take my jacket off, putting it around the boy. It's too big for him, so he doesn't attempt to put his arms through the sleeves. Instead, I zip it and pick him up. Turning, I see that Sherry and Jake have joined the others.
Sherry,"The two story house is the biggest, and there was food in the cabnets."
We al head to the house. Nothing's changed, except for the missing shotgun on the wall upstairs. I place the boy on one of the chairs at the table. He's better than he was. Very young with black hair falling to his shoulders. He's obviously not one of the people who tried attacking us earlier.
I sit next to him, Ada next to me. Chris takes the last chair and the others take the couch, Jake Leans against a wall. Sherry grabs apples for everyone, the only food in the house for some reason. The boy unzips the jacket and takes the apple,"Thank you."
Sherry,"Your welcome. I'll get water in a minute."
He smiles and takes a bite of the apple.
"What's your name?"
He looks at me, finishing the food in his mouth first,"Nero. What's yours?"
"Leon. Can you tell me where this place is? The one you ran away from?"
Nero nods,"If you go through the house with the weird symbol on the door, it takes you to the church. From there, you take another path that's next to the church. Then, um...."
"You go through the lake, then take the path in between the house and the hill. After that, you go through a cave."
Ada smiles,"Then one path leads to another, and we're back to reliving Spain all over again, aren't we?"
I look at her and smile,"Not completely. I don't have Ashley to take care of, and I'm not dealing with the Los Plagas again."
Nero looks at us, shocked,"How did you know?"
"We we're here before. It's a long story."
He nods and continues to eat his apple. Chris,"So, there's a way to get off the island I'm guessing."
"We have to go through their base, but yes."
