Why can't I motivate myself the same way you do?
Why can't I love myself as much when you don't, too?
You empower me, like pure happiness.
Without you, I'll just brace myself and bear my crosses.
I know better than to discard myself once I've lost you, in whom I invested everything.
You, upon whom I relied endlessly.
I won't vanish now that I'm on my own, but without you, my strength is lacking.
I want to stay in your environment of security again, fearlessly.
If I can't have you, if leaving myself vulnerable is too dangerous for me..
I'd rather love myself, and only myself for the rest of all time.
Alas, these things I want for myself, I can't seem to achieve without you.
It always comes back to you, and if I could, I would too.
