Karen Gilhooey was my arthritis docter. She died in a car accident November 6, 2004. I just found out today. It was a foggy night in Traverse City, Michigan and she was driving her 10 year old daughter and two of her daughter's friends from or to a dance recital. It was foggy out and she drove straight into the boat docks. All three died. She was only 46 and had a husband and a son. I'm really upset about it because she was the only doctor I ever had to understand. We were trying to figure out what was wrong with me for many years. Then when I went to Dr. Gilhooey she figured out it was arthritis. She made me belive in docters because I allways hated them. Wow! This has been a aweful day. I want to send some money and a sympothy card to her husband. sad
