Well, Prom was yesterday, and y'know what that means? Correct! That means you get to read a big long blurb about the event AND see pictures. :]
We'll skip the :: gets all prettied up :: part and head straight to Promenade...but first, I'll share a picture of my hair and face up close, and a side view of my dress.

Now, carrying on...
Well, as most of you know, I've been have many guy toubles lately. I went through four guys for dates before I finally said 'screw it' and decided to go stag...so at Promenade, I was the only one to walk down the isle alone. Pft, it didn't bother me in the least. I'd rather walk in alone than with a) Someone I didn't wanna be there with b) Someone I wouldn't have fun with c) a threesome.
So that was all fine and dandy. Whatever.
Anyhow, everyone looked AMAZING...except Liz, because she had the SAME EXACT DRESS as somebody else. Haha, serves her and Sam right. Bitches.
But where was I...oh yes, everyone looked marvelous.

Okay, so Promenade was good and stuff. I held my head high, smiled pretty, and walked proud and confident. A lot of people envied by 'courage'. Whatever. xP
But yeah, so after that, I got a picture with Brian just because he <3's me.

Then, it was off to the actual dance. Unfortunately, the pictures from that actually have to be developed, so you don't get to see anything from the dance itself. :[
But anyhow, it started off HORRID.
Y'see, I was on Prom Committee, so I got to reserve a table for 8. I reserved my table...but when my group got there, some bitches moved the reservation to the garbage can. Not cool at all. That had me VERY pissy. Very. I had b***h fits in my pretty dress. Anyhow, after that surpassed, dinner was served. T'was very good. Yeeeeah. And there was a REAL punch bowl...it was cool. o_o
Then everyone started dancing and stuff. I dirty danced with a pretty boy. <3
...and Colton....and a few girls. XD
I swing danced with Potter, and I slow danced with Potter, Chris, Dani, and someone else...but I'm forgetting his name. ._.;;;
It was fun. I got loads of compliments, hugs, pride boost-age, and all that jazz. The DJ even played my request for Dragostea din Tei.
The coolest part was when I insulted Liz. :]
She was trying to make me jealous with Sam and it wasn't bothering me, so she was dancing all close to him and goes "Amanda, help! He's holding me SO close!"
I looked at her, smiled, and said "Honey, if you think I should be jealous, you're quite mistaken - For YOU are the one who should be jealous, seeming as you're wearing the exact same dress as that girl."
She 'ughed' and looked at Sam like "DO SOMETHING!" and he just goes "huh?"
Harhar. Anyhow, then later, she confronted me about it alone and said "Well I fill the dress out better!" and I just laughed. Then Tiff goes "Yeah, because you're fatter."
I about wet myself. XD
Anyhow, y'know when they start playing music and the little circle forms with that ONE kid in the middle getting their groove on? Well...I went in the circle...all...alone...and got jiggy with it. Yeeeah. Enough said.
Eventually, everyone began leaving...and that's where we'll get into after-Prom.
After Prom was at the YMCA. They had swimming, volleyball, basketball, DDR, and two blow-up thingers. One of them was a bungi thing. You hooked up to a harnass, ran forward as fast as you could, then the cord would yank you back. It looked fun. :3
There was also a wrestling type thing. Two people stood on podiums with huge poles with padding on the ends. The goal was to knock the opponent off the stand. Fun fun.
I spent most of my time at DDR. Figures, 'eh?
The pool was a bit too crowded for my taste. Plus, I didn't feel like tolerating Liz. She's so annoying. o.o
But yeah, it got over with at 2AM, but a few of us went to east breakfast at IHOP first. I got home at around 3:30AM and crashed.
T'was loads of fun. I can't wait until next year. I'm so taking someone, like... DUSTIN. Little party pooper. So yeah, enjoy a few more pictures.
