Lies----

take out the razor blade
create scars that will never fade
watch the blood drip onto the floor
and cover the cuts just like before

lie to your friends, tell them your fine
don't let them see a single sign
cover every tear with a grin
keep every truth hidden within

then go home and cry yourself to sleep
and don't worry, no one will see you weep
close your eyes and fall into a dream
then in that dream you can scream

look in a mirror....tell me what you see
look into the mirror and know that you are me
don't say a word, i won't hurt you
just remember that this time its true

cover your scars, and cover your shame
i hope you know things will never be the same
so cut your wrists and make them bleed
i know this is what you need

i will never hurt you, i will never lie
but i will be there when you finally cry
cut your arm once more
then drop the razor blade to the floor

you no longer need to hide
