The Irreparable
Many things can be broken.
But then, there are things that are so far from broken that it can never be awoken.
What may this poet be implying?
Things that are not man-made.
Things that are not meant to fade.
Trust.
Sanity.
Respect.
Such short words with long distance in our heart and mind.
Yet, many fall short and lose hindsight.
Forgetting how fragile and easy these things fall apart.
At times, those that take these small, irreparable things lightly.
Tread heavy.
Stay strong and move steady.
"Oops, I am sorry,"
said many that break them.
Just a simple phrase in hope to glue everything.
Mend anything
when the damage has far gone.
What do you expect?!
The anger to dissipate?
The sadness to evaporate?
Just for one of them to say again and again, "Trust me."
"Forgive me."
Topping it all off with "please."
Many can only go so far with their damage...
until the hole is too deep.
Too dark.
Far too gone for even the brightest spark to ignite.
In other words,
they have already taken too big of a bite.
-Snow that flutters down like feathers

Note: Hello my fellow readers! I sincerely apologize for not writing in a while. Such a great start...but, I am working on it! I really do love writing poetry. After all, writing poetry has always been my only way to vent and portray my thoughts into art.
