omg ppl think im stupid
like I probably am a little bit
but people talk to me like I Don't Know Things
I grew up very sheltered so i don't know a lot about the world
I don't know Famous Actors or Popular Music
I don't Know basic life skills
so some people think I know nothing
sometimes if I sm bored and someone is not especially critical
I will see how stupid they think I am
"what's a toaster?" "who's beyonce" "i thought the earth was flat" "the toothfairy is real"
sometimes u can measure a person's respect
by how much faith they put in ur judgement
if someone is willing to believe anything of u
then they do not perceive u as a threat
sometimes I would rather be seen as a harmless crackpot instead of an assertive radical
I'm always the stupid but fun & wacky coworker
even though I hate my job
I'm scared of getting fired
my boss has already given me s**t for "inappropriate" conversations at work
I was talking about workers rights!!!!! how is that "inappropriate" for the Work Place
******** hard 2 unionize when nobody has faith that things can get any better
everybody feels so powerless
fighting for better conditions seems futile
even when we are scared for our lives
every day at work someone jokes "I hope I don't get covid"
and we all laugh because we're scared too
we silently nod as our manager tells us company police is to break state violations because Corporate knows better
