Zapook is the mirror version of Koopa. She lives in a world that's full of destruction and the dead. Her only known sister, Aunit, is a being of pure evil who gave her heart and soul to the dark lord to become immortal and extremely powerful. Despite this, Zapook can be a pretty happy girl. She recently lost her boyfriend in a war and has been avoiding going home to keep her from feeling the pain of loss.
She was born as Zapook Renard in a large hidden castle inside of a mountain in her world. Much like Zee, she isn't aware of how many siblings she has, but she does know she's not the oldest. She was then raised and trained in the magic arts and became extremely powerful. She was constantly in the library as well, learning all she could, becoming a super genius. Due to being a bit anti-social as a child, Zapook found it very hard to open up and talk to someone. When she met Noir, she felt unsure of him, but he seemed very attracted to her. This friendship lead into a deep caring for each other that grew into a relationship.
After a few years, Zapook decided that she would try and rescue her sister from the dark clutches of the dark master, Dracula. She refused to tell anyone about her plan, and thus, it became her later downfall. After a long ordeal that she has blocked from her memory, she was found lying face down in a huge empty field, with burning shadows all over her body, and her spine was ripped from her body. Thankfully, she was discovered by Noir within the hour, and he took her home. The incident would have left her paralyzed if not for Noir giving up his tail and a few pieces of his spine, which he recovered quickly. From this, she had gained a few werewolf powers, including rapid regeneration, and one werewolf weakness, silver.
Her alurophobia stems from two different experiences. When she was a tiny child, aged only three or four, her world was a much different place. The Belmonts were spread far and wide, and the only dragons known to man were only told about in old stories of the distant past. Zapook had been playing outside when she saw a stray cat. She was curious and followed the stray throughout the woods until it brought her to a small mountain. She looked around and realized she was lost. Shrugging it off, she started to head back, only to find herself staring a were-jaguar in the face. She backed away, only to run square into a Were-Tiger. She had somehow wandered into a breeding ground for the Were-cats. She quickly ran from the beasts, barely escaping before Alucard, her grandfather, used his Crissagrim to destroy the entire herd. Zapook was completely paralyzed with fear.
Her second experience is the fact that her sister Aunit looks like a cat all the time when her shadows try to form horns.
