My good Windows XP computer has suddenly stopped working.
It's dead.
Seriously.
Kaput.
And it's annoying me that I can't do anything.
When I start it up, you see the EMachines logo and all, but when you pass on to the next screen you see something that says a media cable failed and such, and it's just aggravating.
Then it tells me to insert a system boot disk and press any key.
WHOA WHOA WHOA.
I'm not reformatting my computer when it makes that ticking noise.
Because if it still does, I'm probably still stuck with a crappy outcome.
If I reformat that thing I lose A LOT of stuff and I'll have to reinstall it all over again.
I can't do that. I've spent too long on that thing to lose stuff.
I tell my parents that it's something wrong with the power supply (according to a solution to a similar problem) and they tell me that I won't be getting one because it's not in the budget.
What's really pissing me off is that they're telling me to reformat the thing.
Well, guess what????
EVEN IF I REFORMAT THE THING, THERE'S STILL SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE DAMN POWER SUPPLY. EVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT?!
... ._.;;
I hate this computer.
It's a Windows 98.
It crashes every hour.
Like it has some internal clock that does that to me.
I'm stuck with it for an indefinite period of time.
And contest people...
since all the data stored was on my OLD computer, the contest is closed until further notice.
I'm so sorry guys, if I knew that this was to happen I wouldn't have asked for the entry fees.
Thanks for tolerating me...
