I love words. I take pride in my vocabulary, and constantly work to expand it. Often, in the dull hours of the day, I will find myslef passing the time by reading the dictionary or the thesaurus, merely because I love words that much.
Words.
So, I find it odd that I have a favorite word. Most often, when I have something that I particularly like, I cannot choose a favorite. I would have a difficult time choosing a favorite movie, a favorite person, or a favorite food. I could certainly give a list of some that I would consider some of my favorites, but I could not pick one. Even so, as odd as it is, I most definitely have a favorite word.
Snarf. *mmm...* It is fun to type, but even more fun to say. Snarf. Snarf. Snarf. Most of you out there are probably wondering (A) What illegal addiction does this poor, poor man suffer from? Or (B) How could snarf even possibly be a word?
Snarf is an incredibly rare word, and I highly doubt you will find it in any dictionary. It refers to the spiral metal scraps left over when using a lathe. To me, however, the definition is not terribly important. I just love saying it.
(snärf)
