Wynn's PoV
"They're friends," Dragon said to Shalimar, rushing over to pick her up in a hug. To me, she said, with a glance to Adam, "Because someone's hacked into her system that we need to force out."
At the same instant, Dragon and Nogard grabbed their heads as though they were hurting.
"Dragon?" Adam asked, approaching her. "Are you okay?"
"Wait," I said, grabbing Adam's arm and preventing him from going closer.
"Nieva--[+1]" Adam started to say.
"Watch," I interrupted. "And I go by Wynn now."
As we watched, Dragon and Nogard suddenly stumbled towards each other as though the ground tilted them towards one another. Instead of bouncing off of each other as they should have done, the two merged. At first they shrank until they were no more than a foot tall and black with white marks [+2]. Then they increased in size but a hood hid their facial features [+3].
Looking at this new person created by the Dragon/Nogard merger, I felt a chill sweep down my back. From the corner of my eye, I saw Shalimar reaching up to claw her face in horror. As I turned to stop her, the new person exploded.
Instead of blood and gore flying everywhere, Dragon and Nogard flew in opposite directions. At the same time, they flipped in the air and landed with a knee and a hand on the ground. Standing up, they glared at each other for a moment.
"Are you guys okay?" the blonde woman asked.
"Just kinda want to know what happened," Nogard said.
Suddenly, there was a cackle of electricity from the house followed by a soft thump!.
Ikkit and Tikki stumbled outside, their frizzed out fur standing on end and slightly trailing smoke. Next to Dragon, Nissa's hologram appeared, looking extreamly pissed off.

Xangord's PoV
Blinking, I opened my eyes and looked about. I was in a strange room with strange people. From appearances, only one did not appear as though she belonged. A young girl.
Looking at the girl for a moment, a man with white hair turned his attention to a woman with short black hair. "She is useless if she does not do as told."
"We can easily fix that," the woman said, glaring at the girl coldly.
Saying nothing, the girl looked fixedly at me with an unspoken plea in her eyes--but radiating a steel composure.
