well, everything hurts at any rate, the skating school is over, no more getting up at stupid times to train- well not till sunday, but that's just the morning. confused
Oh well, it's safe to say most ice skaters are insane, i might be complaining a lot but it was really fun and I'll prolly do it again next summer my jumps and edges really improved from training with the people from wild rose (the russian ice theatre).
We got to try ballroom dancing as part of the course, as the group was 90% girls it was quite bizarre, we had to remember if we were leading or not.
I kept forgeting to lead (not to mention forgeting the steps and standing on my poor partners feet, I wasn't in shoes though so it's ok) the junior group (5-11 yr olds) didn't seem that impressed but most of the seniors enjoyed it(myself included).
One of the girls on the course left dead on the end of the day and was back at the rink with her boyfreind before i'd left (I'd told my dad the wrong time)
"you're *still* here?!?"
#raises eyebrow, deadpan# "*you* came back."
seriously though, after a week of spending 10 hours a day at the rink who wants to come back? as another point her boyfreind was really mean I'd break up with my boyfreind if he was like that.
I still haven't done my maths but my brain would probably explode if i tried, hopefully I'll manage a load tomorrow, this is getting serious,I'm still not convinced decision is maths and i have to compleate a tonne of work on the stuff.
